ive been thinking every sighting ive heard about throughout the years, why is it that aliens always seem to have the exact same technology, you would think that after 70 something years of sightings in modern times they would have different technology

like every sighting is a disk flying really fast and turning at sharp angles or a cigar shaped ship, dont get me wrong im a skeptical beliver but its just kinda wierd how its basicly the same thing every time

i guess what im trying to say is why does it seem like the alien ships and things of that nature are always the same ever scince they 1800s

maybe they've taken the technology to its limits... they don't change because theres no point...

i see what he is saying. look at our world 70 years ago. no internet, computers, television. not every family had a car.

and imagine 70 years before that, horse and buggies, no telephones, the repeating rifle was a fairly new invention.

the "alien" technology never advances. look at computers. they are outdated now almost as soon as you buy them, yet this technically advanced species are still using the "model t" saucers instead of "ferrari" space cuisers.

Things can outwardly change little and inwardly change a lot.

I personally think in terms of actual sightings, they have made many advancements since the first ones were spotted. Some of the first ufo "paintings" were massive things that looked like dish plates, then as time progressed it was flying saucers that everyone was reporting as well as cigar shaped craft. After many years passed the pheonix lights sighting, people started reporting alot of triangle shaped craft and are the most common these days. As well sphere's and other shapes that you cannot even discribe are surfacing more and more with ufo sightings. So if you actually think about it, they have developed new shapes just as cars have over the years. This is just an opinion though, taken from alot of the sightings i have heard of.

I have thought this might be possible by sentient energy capable of shifting into different forms of energy and mass. Looking at some behaviors of ghosts gave me that idea and the term transubstantiation used in the bible.

what do they need to upgrade they have alredy perfected ther ships have you ever heard the saying "if it aint broke dont fix it"

ok i understand. there are many posts on here , indeed the whole of them, that makes absolute sense, in terms of this question.

if one looks at the cave drawings in france....dont know the date, there are many different designs of "ufos" painted along with the bison and deer. perhaps its as simple as we dont know enough to see the evolution of one "ufo" from the other. like bmw's and hondas'. while it is that they both are cars, they are both very different, and created by two different cultural beings.

or perhaps like many others have pointed out, they have discovered a basic physical identity of the universe, hence there is no need to change the design, and indeed any other species that progress's ends up at the same design.

i have no idea, but your question is very interesting. im looking forward to reading more posts on this subject. this is intrigueing.

i think another issue at hand as well is the filter of the perciever. a thing exists, and is perceived, otherwise to the perciever it never existed. perhaps we as a people have a tendancy to portray these "ufos" as a particular shape. for instance, cigar shaped. i know i would not describe something as "cigar shaped", because i dont smoke cigars.......so the perciever filters the perception through their own personal cultural norms.....and what they know......

maybe we dont see the whole picture? perhaps its multidimensional, and we can only percieve so many of those dimensions, which then appears as discoid, or cigar shaped?

I`m both agreed and unagreed with Area 51, because: THERE IS NO WORD CALLEN PERFECT !!! Something can be superb and unbelivebol good, but it would always be possible to make something better !

But still i`m agreed with Area 51 because theire technologie`s is so advanced that it isn`t any meening with making anything better. Like if you were an alien and had a spaceship that was going 4563 times faster then light what was then the meening with making one that could go 4564 times faster then light ?

One more thing: how could all of you possible know that alien technologies doesn`t advance ?, are you aliens youreself ore something ?, well all of os humans come from the planet X, but still ?
