ash is mostly organic material, mainly carbon. if there was a fire around the shroud and it was coated with ash, even just a little bit, it would change the proportion between the radioactive and non radioactive carbon and effect the result.

they think leonardo da vinci used the camera obscura to make the image on the shroud. you can research it more yourself.

I saw the pictures of Da Vinci, in fact I posted that in a thread. And although similar, I don't believe that he did it. hmm.gif

I've been following this Shroud thing for more than 30 years. I'm convinced it is not the true death shround of Jesus. No possible way.

But hey, that's just me.
