Just across the bay from San Diego lies the United States Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, California.

On the base is a swastika shaped building. A very unusual building to be on a naval base to say the least.

The building lies between Tulagi Rd. and Bougainville Rd.

Using Google Earth you can locate the strange building at:
32 40'34.09" N, 117 09'27.96 W

I wonder when and by whom it was constructed. And who approved the design. No doubt about it being intentional.
Very bad taste, and kind of ominous. (reasons behind the obvious message conveyed)

Well that was a born design....But i'm sure it was not meant to mean anything./...I use to be married to a officer and i know they build on base's by the amount of space they have to work with..It looks' like thats the only way it would fit..... hmm.gif

It is actually four buildings. They are not joined in the center. hey have been built at different times due to budgetary constraints. If that is the case then they may not have noticed the resemblance until it was too late.

Well L-shaped flats/apartment building aren't exactly rare, them being positioned in a shape of a swasticka is pretty damn rare if not unqiue.

well the swasticka isnt a bad thing well i mean since hitler stole it as his symbol but before that i beleived it meant something else but i could be wrong?

It's also called a 'Doudochos' from The Golden Dawn.

So why does everyone think nazi now about nothing wrong with the symbol it was just forever marked by the nazi traits....

Well, not only is the Korean version at a 90 degree angle - so is the 'Doudochos', but the Doudochos was from ancient Egyptian times. If anything, I was thinking Hitler used it from that specific time frame - due to his being fascinated with ancient Egyptian occultism- and probably caused major blunder from an Egyptian curse. That is just my opinion though. The thing is - supposedly, Hitler being an artist as well, had 'created' the swastika on paper, before he introduced it to the community.

But, did he do that or reference the past is what I was wondering... unsure.gif

history of the swastika

seems to me a ready in symbols book that it was originally used for good fortune, but before Hitler used it. But can't seem to find this info at the moment. So please don't shoot me! lol

Actually the swastika is a very very old "Sun" symbol. Plain and simple a sun symbol.

^In the Golden Dawn text, closely relating to the 'Doudochos' is in another 'cirlcle' called the 'Sentinel' - an eye (not left or right- just one eye - 3rd eye?)- I don't know if it's off topic, but it reminds me of the paradigm in the 1 dollar bill. Where there is what one thinks of the sun and the eye together....^
