I was never exactly interested in the whole aura thing before but I was just soaking in the bathtub (tmi, sorry) and saw my own! (at least I think I did.) I saw this hazy green color around my hands and then it became a definite line around my whole body- really weird, I've never seen anything like that before. It was a bright green.

I know your eyes can play tricks on you, like if you look at something white for a long time and close your eyes and see black, and so one with every color, you see the invert of that color when you close your eyes, but everything around me was white and I saw green.

anyway I dunno what they are all I did was google auras and read that bright green is healer or something? I'm still clueless.

Soap in your eyes?

I wouldn't automaticly consider this paranormal. Many times your eyes CAN play tricks on you and mine have done it before. If I look at anything long enough it begins to develop your description of an "aura". Many times looking into a light can cause effects like this. Or maybe as Bio-Mage said, it was sopa ;D.

Hi Aija

Mine is green as well. My brother saw it and saw the same color i saw on myself. Its said to have the meaning of healer but it can be different.

Actually you do see your aura when your eyes are out of focus. Would you like to know for sure? There is a way to do that and it is very easy. I tried it as well and did it as an experiment with friends. We each did the exercise and did not tell the other what color we saw on ourselves. Than we all looked at eachother's auras. In every case with came up with the same colors on eachother and others that they too saw as well.

I know it sounds silly but give it a try. the easiest way is looking in the mirror of a well lit room. Focus on a part of the top of your head. Do not blink, simply let your eyes go out of focus. You will start to see a white light around yourself and than beyond that you will see a color. It might take you a few times to get to the color but naturally your eyes do not want to be out of focus. Now your aura does have the ability to change sometimes according to mood or depression and such but generally I believe it stays the same color. if you try the experiment be sure to do it at the same times as others so you can be sure you are all going to see the same color on one another.

I tried this thinking it was the sillest thing I ever heard and it turned out that it worked.
Afterwards we were doing it to other people but had enough practice to simply follow the steps without the mirror. Try it. original.gif

next time you should try doing it with another group of friends, and writing down your responses, without allowing the others to see it.

It would make it much more intriguing if all the responses were the same that way, without others knowing what was said before-hand.

That's cool though.

Welcome to the forums, aija_k thumbsup.gif

Sometimes your eyes do that when you have soap in your eyes or something. I know from experience if you keep your eyes open in cholrine water too long for an extended period of time everything seems as if they have a purple haze around them... And it HURTS!

Once more- welcome to UM grin2.gif

We'll have to find new subjects for that study but that would be intriguing. original.gif

There's no need to be a jerk. He/She was mature about it, has good spelling, and didn't act like it was that big of a deal.

I'd try it with a group, but having 3 or 4 of my friend sitting in the back would just be... Disturbing...

Now if it were the girls I wouldn't have a problem with it tongue.gif

See if you can do it again outside of the tub . As rediculous as what bio mage said ( "soap in your eyes" ) may sound it actually makes a lot of sense . Too much water and soap can easily cause you to see things such as colors .

If you can repeat it elsewhere then you may be onto something .

thanks for the replies everyone, I'll try what everyone suggested and reply if there's anything interesting to say.

I may try the soap exercise when I have shower next. I'm hoping to try the orgonite exercise soon. It involves pouring resin and metal directly onto my eyeball. It may sting I bit so I'm going to find a stick to bite on.
