This is a picture (one of three I have, but the clearest) that was taken in Egypt recently in the tomb of Ptah-Hotep in Saqqara.

It stands just short of the noses of the traditional carvings of the people aroud it.

One thing that is certain about the picture is that it is from the same timeframe as the mural, which it is part of, and the mural is from ancient Egypt.

What do you all think?

Actually the thread from which this picture came - the one on Ufos in ancient times under 'mysteries of mind space and time' I believe, said that the carving was an optical illusion. You cannot tell from this photograph. Do you have a wider photograph showing the area around this figure?

Hmm... I voted "Don't Know". It doesn't look exactly like a "grey". It sorta looks more like an insect head on a human body to me.

Looks an awful lot like the "alien cave paintings" found somewhere in Wiltshire. (incidently they were April fools jokes on HTV West news) Any coincidence? :)

Insects, especially wide eyes ones such as the mantii and locusts (ii?) locuii? Umm, anyway, they held important spiritual points in ancient Egyptian spiritualisim.

Wouldn't it be funky if aliens were descended from what we would consider insect genetic stock?

i think its a good pic,false or not. i read alot about Egypt and all of the pyramids are lined up with some of the stars in the solar system how did they know how to do that? i think they must of had some kind of communication with something, we have to be more open minded. are planet can not be the only one with life on it.

I Know exactly what that symbol stands for its the symbol of one of the egyption gods Ptah the god of craftmanship and if you look its surronded by workers and worshipers.
They say the God Ptah could help speed work and make plants such as crops grow faster.

I think people wan to see what they want in picture or hear on tapes.And it seems as if this is just another way of putting the accomplishments of the past down.How could they have done that-oh it must be visitors from the stars.I don't think so.

Don't look at the stars for answers, that's my motto. Even if does look like what people claim an alien grey looks like, it doesn't necessarily have to be one (Aliens don't exist!!)! Havn't you guys ever heard of something called being creative? You know like what people do when they talk about alien abductions? (LoL) I think I will go with what a previous poster said, it looks like a worn out Anubis, of which you can only see the ears.

To be honest in my opinion, this picture looks like blurry tattoo art. But maybe my eyes deceive me. So my vote on the issue is believable to some extent but not rational to others.

I have the real answer, but i wish i had the link to back it up!!! I forget where I saw it!!

it's not a grey, it's not anubis, it's something much more intriguing! It's a table! and I think it has fruit on it, i'm not sure. I was researching this once and came across another photo of this same are from another angle. It is clearly visible that it is a table. I'm serious too.

Does anyone agree with me that this whole "ancient astronaut" thing is really depressing?

I mean, the whole of human existence is some kind of experiment by little alien guys who have to nudge us along here and there because we're so horrendously dim we can't do it for ourselves?

All this stuff about aliens taught us this and that. Honestly. I know that we're a rum old bunch but aren't we even allowed our creativity, or inspiration, or genius.

If someone presented me with absolute, objective proof that aliens had been helping us along since back when we used a hippopotamus bum-bone to plough a muddy field, I wouldn't be leaping all about the place going "hooray hooray, I've found the truth," I'd be slowly drinking myself to death in my Newcastle United shirt and sobbing quietly against my cigarette.

What am I trying to say here? I suppose I'm trying to say that I refute everything like this as a matter of specistic pride.

there have been alien beings and crafts found in craving ans cave painting around the world. there is even an egyptian mural that depicts a lightbulb. a large, transparent tube with a swiggly snake (the symbol of power and energy) inside, acting as the filament. many ancient ruins are found to be elaborate landing pads very similar to the ones used today. not to mention the mahabharata and ramayana. ancient books from what is now india and the middle east telling in great detail a fantastic war that lasted years and years between the inhabitants of earth and those flying the vimana- crafts in the sky with the power to destroy cities with beams of light.

Could be signifying one of their gods we dont know about since they had many! But then there still are 2 more posibilities.
1:The Egyptions had encounters With the Grays.
2:Going along the artist prodicted what he thought one of their gods looked like!

On the larger image, it’s strange how the area besides it has faded, and its black eyes are still so clear! As you can see people can walk freely around this hieroglyphics, drawings, whatever you would officially call them? This could have been added at anytime! But if you see the two lines above are in a straight horizontal line. So why is the image not level with the rest, why lower? And the imaged depicts agricultural images. The top has leaves in one hand, and the second has animals, possibly depicting food sources? So why would an image like this be on this particular wall? So I would say it’s a joke! If the ancient Egyptians were being visited by aliens they would have rooms dedicated to them. Statues erected to them. Whole walls depicting their crafts and the visitors. Not just one vague image that’s not in keeping with the rest of the scene.

yes,i believe this is a very strong evidence that the Greys have made contact with the ancient Egyptian civilization.i even think that this Greys actually helped them in the sense of education,astrology and architecture.

actually i wanna correct a word in my past post.it was supposed to be 'Aliens' not 'Greys'.

they didn't just made contact,they actually helped them.here's what i think.....

well actually nothing against the ancient Egyptians but i think they're actually a little stupid in the first place.

1.although it's religous but they don't have to go everywhere building temples.

2.i'm not underestimating them but i just don't think that they're smart enough to come up with crazy constructions (eg Pyramids).i think the aliens gave them a few advice and 'tips' on the way.i mean think of it,did they REALLY had that idea to do or doing it?....nah

3.i'm not sure if the theory of wheels have been broken before their time.if not,i'd say the aliens gave them some extra tips again.you know,just some help.pitiful humans,have to walk and run here and there like chickens under the blazing sun.....

4.astrology and those calender fixing thing.we knew that the Greeks and other civi's have created calenders but none is as accurate as the Egyptians.i mean the coordination and the knowledge of the planets,stars and even the days of the Earth would take to orbit the sun,it's so close,i mean too close to the exact one!!

i think there are many more,well i just can't think of it now

,but i guess those are enough to support my earlier stuff

.but would like to hear more from you people about this too,i might not be right after-all.....

ps: i just don't think they came up with all those astrology thing when before that,all they knew was to build temples and worship their gods and...well,that's it!!

Hmm, i have a different opinion from you Engulf. I cant really see the flying saucers trowing little drawings from the sky showing how to build a pyramid (a figure of speach of course, no offense meant to your point of view!).
Here is what i think: the pyramidal type of construction is not only seen in egypt, the great cultures of central america have it also, well of course, the aztecs could say: "What are we going to do today...Ah, lets build pyramids!!" but i dont belive in coincidences.
Plato describes in "Timeo e Critias" the city of atlantis, having a triangular temple, he also says that it were the Egipcians who passed the knowledge of Atlantis to the Greeks. So, what i am saying is that they could have received the knowledge on how to build pyramids from atlantis.

Ok, stop laughing now... im not finished

when atlantis fell, Plato says there were boats with survivors who fleed to distant lands, and all of the central american great cultures have "great kings coming from the sea". well, what i am saying is that the american cultures recived the pyramidal knowledge from atlantis too.

I have this "strange idea" for some time, i dont know if its a disease. What do you think? (bout the Atlantis thing, not the disease

.for what i think,pyramids are great stuff for tech advances and for starters too.i'm not sure but maybe the Egyptians' knowledge just weren't......enough yet??so maybe 'they' decided to help with this step 1 program because it's not just simple (certainly not simple though with all those human work to built it though,just looking at maybe through an aliens's perspective

)but it'll give a great boost for starters like the primitive Egyptians.just my point of view,maybe i'm just heading at the opposite direction or completely the wrong way after-all

Well, yes the piramids are great and remarkable monuments, and they are one of the few GRAND projects of the ancient time (i would love to see the remains of Babel, the great statue of Zeus, the hanging gardens...oh....

)
And whats really scary bout the piramids was that they were built in 30 years, more than 150000 men working there, the stones wheighted from 2.5t to 15t with a total of 2.5 million stones in the graet piramid!

There is enough stone to cover all france in a 1m wall

In this particualr case, obviously a vase of flowers or something (I'm no egyptologist!)
But, for the whole did Egyptians get help from aliens question, I just don't know. Sorry for not being any help on that.....

I think I once saw a documentary that disproved the whole idea that the Americas and Egypt are linked to Atlantis because they all had pyramids, because the writing, style of decoration ect. were totally different to eachother. Something like that anyway.

Someone is trying to keep me from seeing the alledged "grey". every time i look i see just a shadow whereever it is.
