I know that this has been done to death here but still.
I saw an interview with Gordon Cooper last night....Coop was one of the original Mercury Astronauts.In the interview he came right out and said that he personally had seen a"fleet" of UFO's in 1951 when flying with his squadron over Germany.
He said that Astronaut James McDivit saw a UFO when in Orbit around the Earth....He checked with Heuston and there should have been no debris/Satelites in that position .Mcdivit photographed the object but the glint of sunlight from it made the photo unclear.Now way back then the orbit was hardly as cluttered as it is today so any large object is gonna be strange isn't it ?
Cooper said that his team filmed an actual "Saucer" landing at Edwards Air Force base...they informed the appropriate channels ...sent the film off but never saw it again.
He also implied that Astronaut Ed Mitchell has also been a witness to a UFO in space.
Now Coop was a hugely accomplished Air force pilot being a flight Liutenent at the age of 22....he went on to attain a degree in Aeronautics before being selected as one with "the right stuff" for the Space program.......When someone of this calibre comes out and says ET is here and the truth is being covered up .......what should we think ? Why would this guy Lie or is it even possible that he could have been mistaken .......I dont think so because if anyone was in the know of cutting edge Earth technology...surely he was ?
As a matter of fact he stated that he once chased a ufo and it turned out (embarrasingly for him) to be a weather balloon...but when he saw the real deal it was completely different and there was no matching them for speed or maneuverability.He also said that he has a good friend who's a respected commercial pilot ...this guy was "accompanied" on a flight over the ocean once by a large glowing disc off his left wing,he tried to shake it off but couldn't ,after a while it seemed to get fed up and took off at incredible speed.....straight up from 30,000 feet !
Is it really possible that we were this advanced in 1951 ? If so why would we even bother building machines like the F1 17 Stealth fighter ?

Oh yes, the late, great Gordon Cooper... I believe some of his exact words were:

"there were a number of extraterrestrial vehicles out there cruising around, flying the same fly ring(?) that we were flying..."

"a saucer apparently flew overhead, and put down some landing gear, and landed out on the dry lake bed, only about fifty yards out..." (this was in reference to a project he was working on, where his filming crew apparently witnessed a saucer)

There are many things Gordon Cooper has said that are very significant... I won't say I believe him, but I have no reason not too...

Well the way i see it is this.If you are the pride of the most powerful nation on earth and had achieved what he has....would you want to make yourself look like a nut
I think he's telling the truth and everything else be damned....fair play Coop is what i say.

Has he taken any pics that weren't distorted or later conviscated? are they posted on the web anywhere?

Not that i know of....but for him to sit and do a face to face interview is good enough for me.
What would his photo's prove to the sceptics anyway ?.

i heard about coops sightings and they seem pretty real. although getting a pic would have been nice too.

I guess the 'ET's' must have left... or we wouldn't be making plans for moon bases and the like?
