Candy Man was one of the first horror films that i ever saw, many years ago

I was told as a kid that the film was based on a true story and it really scared me, i couldnt look in mirrors without thinking of the Candy Man and getting freaked out, haha, but it's all just made up unfortunately, there is no legend behind the man

What horror films would you rate as the best?
