Section 02 of Chapter 1- Intensity of Wars

Matthew 24:6-7,

6)"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7)For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places."

It is impossible to correctly understand these verses without connecting the previous statement made by our Lord. Jesus warned His disciples that as the end of the age draws near, many people would call themselves Christians. But Jesus said they would be deceived. How are they specifically deceived? What lie are these people believing that endangers their souls? The lie that says that there can be true God-given peace among nations apart from the return of Jesus to rule the nations. Most of organized Christianity today is working feverishly with political leaders to secure a threatened planet. Unless they repent they will usher in the antichrist and deny the real Christ. Remember the two-headed serpent.

How one believes about peace on earth and how it will come to pass will indicate which church he is part of. Those who are born again and look to the government of Jesus at His Second Coming are part of the true church. Those who look to the government of men are part of the harlot church of antichrist.

Notice in verses 6 and 7 that Jesus says wars are inevitable and that Christians should not be shocked and dismayed. As His children, we know that the unregenerated will always fight to the end. He´s saying that from now on, the world will be besieged with wars and revolutions. Expect for the short false peace under the antichrist, there will always be conflict in the world until He returns as the ruling Prince of Peace. Even under the antichrist there will be conflict; not so much between nations, but between the nations and God. These verses imply that men and nations will try to bring outer peace to a beaten, battered world, but that true worldwide peace can only be accomplished by His return. For it is then that Satan will be cast into the bottomless pit where he can no longer deceive the nations, (Revelation 20:3).

The true Christian will not be troubled with wars to the point where he compromises the truth to accomplish a so-called peace between men and nations. He certainly would not disobey the Lord´s command to love ones enemies by taking up arms and going off to war. The Spirit-led Christian continues to preach Godly sorrow, repentance, and faith in Jesus and His coming, as man´s only hope for peace. If peace among men and nations is not based on this foundation it will surely fall.

Jesus said that men and nations would find themselves perplexed and confused as the end of the age draws near. Trouble and crisis will fill the headlines across the continents. Crisis after crisis will occur until the world´s people are literally terrified by the threat of a nuclear exchange that could extinguish mankind. These troubles will intensify to such a point that a western political leader, aided by a deceived church system, will reach his pinnacle of glory and honor by solving the political and economic problems of the world, especially the Middle East. We´ll discuss this in the next chapter, "The Antichrist." Simply put, wars and rumors of wars culminate in a cry from religious and political leaders for world unity and peace. The tragedy is that nations will find outer peace among themselves, under the antichrist, but still be at war with a holy God. That´s why the international peace will collapse. Its foundation is as sand.

These continuing wars and revolutions will be major news events until the last world war among the nations. We´ve already had two examples this century of what is to come. World War I was the first war where most nations and kingdoms on the earth fought against each other. World War II was a dramatic intensification of this particular sign that Jesus gave us. World War III will be 30 times more destructive than World War II. Some 600 million people have died as a result of wars in the last 2,000 years. Of these, 300 million have died in the last 70 years. Is that intensification? The Bible, in Revelation 6:8, 9:15, reveals that one-fourth, then one-third of the earth´s population will be killed during Daniel´s 70th Week, (Daniel 9:27). This week is the last seven years of history before the 1,000-year rule of Jesus Christ on the earth.

Revelation 6:8,

"And I looked and, behold a pale horse, and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

Revelation 9:15,

"And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month and a year, to slay the third part of men."

Considering there are those that claim America was founded on Christian principles. Considering to this very moment there exist voters in this country who actually believe they elected GWjr. back into office, even after the first scandal. Considering all that is now in place to suspend the Constitution, Bill of Rights and abridge the freedom we were told this country was founded upon. Considering America was founded by people that disagreed with their government, and that today persons are detained, or harassed by law enforcement for speaking critically of the government of the people. Considering the founding fathers of this Nation in no wise intended to prohibit a federalist domain taking shape, else they would have penned the Constitution to afford term limits not only to the leadership of this country but to the legislative branch that controls it by law as well. I'd say we damned ourselves from the outset. Damned ourselves with the 2000 election and now shall reap what we sow.

I believe in Hell. I voted and yet I am witness to a living demon empowered in Washington! I believe in the "great Satan" for he wears thousand dollar suits and was born in Texas! And I believe, to the bottom of my very soul, that one day there shall be a reckoning!

(Now after reading about the great Babylon that is America, look to the foreign shores and the powers that be in residence over the people there. For Babylon was in true history a great and powerful force and had much influence among many. America may be damned, but we are not alone! It bodes an ill future when the many give power to the few to rule everything and everyone.)

There is growing support for the idea that America is Babylon the Great. I disagree with this. There is many reasons for this, but the main reasons I will outline here.

Babylon as a literal city is mentioned in the fulfillment of many things which must be after the Rapture. Revelation 18: 1-24

In Ezekiel 38 and 39 all those nations that ally with Babylon will go to take a spoil and destroy completely the nation of Israel, but God Himself will destroy all but 1/6th of them.

Babylon is Iraq. From the Biblical description it can be in no other place.

Causes of the Doom of Babylon

Isa 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

Isa 13:20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

OPRRESSION OF ISRAEL

Isa 14:2 The nations among whom they lived will actually escort them back home, and then Israel will pay them back by making slaves of them, men and women alike, possessing them as slaves in GOD's country, capturing those who had captured them, ruling over those who had abused them.

Isa 14:3 When GOD has given you time to recover from the abuse and trouble and harsh servitude that you had to endure

By this time all should see where Babylon really is. Hillah now sits where the original city of Babylon was. Many times the whole country of Persia (now Iran and Iraq) has been referred to as Babylon. … not New York or Boston or Los Angeles or Miami.

It has been reported that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. They hate Israel and they hate America. They have vowed to destroy both. We are referred to as infidels.

How will Babylon be destroyed?

• Earthquake – Revelation 16:17-21
• Supernatural destruction – Revelation 16:17-21; 18:8, 10, 17, 19, 21.
• By Fire from Heaven – Revelation 18:8-18; Isaiah 13:19; Jeremiah 50:40.
• With Violence – Revelation 18:21.
• By the Earth Swallowing her – Revelation 18:21; Jeremiah 51:62-64.
• By God – Revelation 18:8-20. As HE destroyed Sodom, see: Isaiah 13:19; Jeremiah 50:40

Extent of Destruction:

1. Will never be inhabited again. Isaiah 13:20; Jeremiah 50:39-40; 51:29, 37, 43.
2. Her site to be one of the openings of hell. Revelation 19:3; Isaiah 14:9-17; 66:22-24.
3. On the edge of this hole to hell desert creatures will dwell. Isaiah 13:21-22.

This is the beginning of the proof that America is NOT the Babylon of Revelation.

Quoting scriptures really means nothing since only Paul (who barely mentions Jesus as a person) actually was alive when Jesus was supposed to be. All the other books, gospels, letters ect were written by non-witnesses. We have no idea what Jesus actually said (if he ever actually existed), nor do we know when he actually lived, since the gospels can't agree on a birth date (which calls his death date into question). Is America Babylon the Great Whore? No, Revelation was a political allegory against Rome and Nero, nothing else. The unknown author that penned Matthew in the 2nd century CE covered his rear with what he said. There has always been wars and rumors of wars; nations rising against nations, and kingdoms against kingdoms; and famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. He knew this and wrote it to add authority to his writing. Jesus promised to return "while some of you standing here" still lived. They all have been dead 2000 years and he never returned....end of story.
