I have seen this video quite a lot on sites all over the web. I am convinced that it is almost definitely a hoax. The fact that the camera man just so happens to zoom out before it "flies off" proves that it is fake. It is highly unlikely that someone would zoom out just before it shoots off at a high rate of speed or even zoom out at all for that matter because he had a great detailed shot of it when it was zoomed in, there is no reason whatsoever to zoom out. It reminds me a lot of the fake crop circle video that mystified many a few years back before being proven a hoax. Maybe I am just being a bit biased but I never really consider videos of UFO's to be that convincing personally. Unless the UFO happens to land on the ground. Not that I don't consider ALL video's to lack credibility but most of the videos out there are far from convincing. I will say though, that videos are far better evidence than still pictures.

not sure what to make of it, I've have never been one to say that one is a fake ( i have seen 5 UFOs myself) unless it is clearly fake, and this is a little not sure

Well it looks very similar to that pre-9/11 World Trade Centre UFO video that appeared on the Sci-fi website and that is a proven fake, so chances are very high that this one is too.

Plus also notice if you pay close attention when the camera moves that there is a slight movement in the craft and it goes with the camera.

This one sure has been around.
The only place I have seen this 'debunked' was in another forum where an enthusiast showed how to make this film. He also said that the 'haze' surrounding the object was proof it had been placed in the film. CGI was how the effects were created in this one from memory (had something to do with the fuzzy outline). I have not read of any professional organisation that says the clip is fake.

Shame, looks good. The old debate, analogue is too fuzzy and hard to focus, digital images are too easily enhanced. Why do people make fakes? Can we legally punch them yet? USE THE FORCE WISELY.

i read up about this, its been proven as a hoax by use of an old camera trick, NOT tape or rope or anything, it's just a still screen made to look as if it's moving around, can't remember how they did the UFO, i cant remember the link either
