Dentist gives pet dog a gold tooth

A Bosnian dentist has given his pet dog a gold tooth as a reward for his loyalty.

Milan Vujnovic, from Banja Luka, said his eight-month-old Russian terrier Atos knows the gold tooth is 'special'.

Vujnovic said: "He likes the fact that he has a gold tooth. He often shows it off because he knows it is something different and special.

"The Russian terrier is the smartest of all dogs and Atos deserved a special tooth because he is so loyal and special to me.

"It took me four hours to put the gold cover on his tooth but all the time he just sat there and didn't move an inch. He was as good as gold."

He also said he had no fear thieves might try and steal his dog to take the gold tooth.

"Atos is descended from the dogs that were used by the Soviet KGB. He's not a dog that would ever allow himself to get stolen," Vujnovic said.

His dog likes to show it off?

Don't blame him though for spoiling his dog. A dog is a member of the family, just not some random pet.

Spoiling his dog? How about an exceptionally juicy bone or something? This is more ludicrous than people that put little sweaters on their dogs.

I can't really believe the dog is showing off his gold tooth, more likely wrinkling his lips back because he suddenly has a heavy funny-tasting thing in his mouth.

If I need too, I'd probably get my dog a gold tooth I'm closer to my dog then I am to most members of my family

As for putting a sweater on her..... I'm getting her a a kind of rain proof jacket when I walk her in the winter But that's so she doesn't get sick

I think that guy is right to give that dog the tooth, I mean, If your brother/sister protected you from everything, never argued and was always there to cheer you up, you'd give them a treat
