This is my story of when I vistited the famous Area 51 about 2 years ago.

My friends and I are extremely interested in Area 51, all of it's secrets and cover ups are out the ready to be discovered, the complete truth is tat the whole world wants to know about aliens, ET's and UFO's, this is why I thought I would post this here.

I was 22 years old at the time my friends were about my age, anyways we all decided that we would go to Las Vegas for some fun but also to visit Area 51, which was actually more fun Las Vega itself. Now we didn't have all the latest technology we were just some people interested to visit Area 51. Our equipment included binoculars, radios, cameras etc. So we travel out to Area 51 I have some directions if anyone else is interested but they are basic and it just takes time to find it. Here they are:

You will encounter highway 375, aka the Extraterrestrial Highway.

The former black mailbox is now white. This is one of the main entrance ways to reach the border. It is by mile marker 29.

Mailbox road, travel 4 miles down it and then go through a small ranch with a water tank. Take the center road after the ranch for .8 miles.

Groom Lake Road. You will come to a stop sign, turn right onto Groom Lake Road and follow it for 8 miles. You will reach the border at the end.

You will start to see equip up on the hills and stuff like that.

Now me and my friends stopped I don't remeber where but it was before you reach the hills and radio equipment. We stopped for one of my friends to go to the bathroom, While he was walking to find a spot he called back to us (me and my other friend) to come look at something he found. He found a dark green box that had in black letters "Property of US government", well of course we picked it up and saw that it had a wire going from it we follwed the wire for about 100 feet or so and found an obeject that looked like a green probe that was stuck in the ground and it also had another wire going from we follwed that and we finally ended finding 2 boxes and 3 probes spread out i don't know I think about a mile or so.

I figure this, everybody knows about the equipment up in the hill which Area 51 is allowed to have but I believe there is a guideline they have to follow for how far they can monitor so I think even before we started seeing equipment that Area 51 already knew we were there.

Back in the car we drove and drove it seemed like and we found the hill we were looking for because this hill you can go to the top and get a good view of the site without getting in trouble. Well when we got to the site we saw a truck parked on top of a hill to our left about 3 miles away.

We camped out for two days their and unfortunately we did not get no footage of anything unusual, he only thing that we saw was a black chopper that circled around Area 51 three and a half times and finally left we never did know where it went.

But this was the best experince of my life this has been something I have been waiting to do for years I suggest anyone wanting to go visit this place should.

What benefit did you hope to get out of that? You wanted to see craft? Is that seriously THAT important, amid the consequences that might arise? Military installations do not take kindly people trying to get a peek of what they are doing.

I know, I went there to see something "Unknown" I wanted to get evidence to make me more convince about the unknown than I already am. I also planned this trip knowing the risks I took, and I am not afraid of any consequences.

Great topic Brint thumbsup.gif

I'd just like to say the following:

The fact Brint went there to see if he could see something unusual and admits he didn't makes his story more credible.

Brint has already said he understood the consequences of his actions in travelling to the vicinity. He's also said they camped up there for a couple of days in full view of an army vehicle which took no action. I think Area 51 is used to people finding their way to it and assesses the risks on each case. Obviously if you go right up to the perimiter and act suspiciously you'll be apprehended and questioned, camping on a hill some way away is probably seen as innocent behaviour...

Note: I'm not saying that everyone will be able to view the base with no interaction, just that Brint was probably lucky and got away with it happy.gif

I agree. Good job and great effort Brint. I will be heading up there soon too, all the way from Houston Texas. More than likely taking a plane.

That is exactly why the most top secret projects have been moved from Groom Lake to other locations.

Trust me you won't regret it, I flew there from Ohio and I don't regret it at all.

Nice one, Brint. thumbsup.gif

Visiting this region has always been on my list of 'to-do', as well as Roswell amongst others, if only to 'live-the-experience' and who knows, maybe to see something out-of-the-ordinary!! w00t.gif

Always said if I ever won the UK lottery I'd set some money aside to tour the paranormal/ufo related regions of the good ol' US of A. Heres hoping those numbers come up...

..mind you, I'll have to start doing the lottery to win something, of course... laugh.gif

Cheers, Robbie.

Being so far away seems like you would have need a telescope instead of binos to see
anything of real interest? Or you had a good set of binos Right?

awesome article, though I always had a question re:area 51...while it is true you will be threatened with death and turned away at that secret base...if you were to got to area's 1 through 50, wouldn't the same thing happen? just my mind wandering....i'll catch it sooner or later.
nice post though!

We did have a telescope but it was kind of junky but we had two sets of binoculars one pair were pretty expensive but it was one of my friends and I had a pair of nightvision which I guess worked ok.

Sorry I didn't mention the telescope blush.gif
