Yes i do know how high we were because jetblue has a channel on thier tvs tellign you your seped and altitude. We were apormixilty 52000+ high of an altitude.

A small point of fact.

Jet Blue utilizes Airbus A320 aircraft.
The A320 has a service ceiling of 39,000 feet. It's optimal performance range is between 28,000 and 37,000 feet.
Thus, it is impossible that you were flying at 52,000 feet. No commercial airline flies at that altitude, and the A320 cannot.

Naaah, captain.

I just know a little something about airplanes, that's all.

I think, upon reading back, that someone else said something about an airliner flying at 52,000 feet, which they don't. I believe our poster corrected himself to say they were at 40,000, but an A320 doesn't fly that high either. It just places the whole story in question.

It's a couple of dots on a blue background, which doesn't really disprove anything, but, as with so many other alien bits of "evidence", neither does it prove anything.

There is one referenced shot which shows the trailing tip of the right wing. That picture appears to show a crescent moon in the field of view, however. Other than that, there are simply colored dots, which indeed could be reflections off of a double paned aircraft window.

Who knows?

Sadly true. They used to, but BA and Air France grounded those beautiful Concordes.

Agreed, Waspie.

That lovely thing had a ceiling of Flight Level 600...(60,000 feet)...and a speed of about Mach 2 (1300+ MPH at sea level).

What an aircraft!

Someday, perhaps, we'll see another of these magnificent machines....

I came back from watching england in the world cup yesterday night and when the plane was taking off the cabin lights were turned off and only the spotlights above your head were left on.

GUESS WHAT???????

I looked out of the window to my right and saw exactly what is in your pictures! i didnt have my phone in my pocket to take any pictures which is a shame. Buddyless you said you hate liars so you must really dislike yourself at the moment. I urge anyone who has read this thread and is going on holiday soon do do the same experiment. It can only be seen at night though. Like i said on take off when they dim the cabin lights look out of your window. I flew on easyjet and they said the window shutters have to be up on take off and landing so i thought id see if i could prove my previous theory right and hey presto i was correct.

Shame on you buddyless
angry.gif All we want now is an admission that you deliberatly faked pictures to fool us and your sorry, and all will be forgiven. If you dont repent you will go straight to hell upon death because god hates liars as well as yourself! ha ha

well congraudufukinlation i can do the same sh**, but what i saw wasnt not relfection of luights on the window, what i was watchin with my EYEs you no the things on your face right above your nose, eye thoses two things. i was watchin this with the two above my nose. And i would like to see how honest you r and i would like u to post a picture of your plane ticket with the date and time, and the world cup ticket our else your just another one of thoese people who likes going down the street not across the road

[attachmentid=26365][attachmentid=26364]My husband took this photo. I told him where to point the camera, as I had sensed it's prescence. It was taken November of last year in the middle of the afternoon along a busy high street. It wasn't visible to the public. The church is called St Saviours on St Saviours Lane near Magdalen Street, Norwich. It is easy to find on the google earth map. I can assure you it is not a street lamp, as I have also enclosed another photo untouched like the first to show you that there is no street lamp. It is the same church tower and the same location taken from the same vehicle. We were in the car park at the rear when we took these photos on different days. I asked my husband to take me back there so I could get a shot of the tower as it was observed by the public that day and as a comparison as to what showed up on my husband's camera after I told him where to point it.

I can sense these craft. It is hard to describe the feeling that I get when they are really close like this one.

The problem with any claim like this is credibility. Once holes appear in the story it is difficult to believe the story as a whole. For example how does this statement:

match with this statement:

QUOTE(buddyless5432 @ Feb 25 2006, 02:26 AM)

its definatly wasnt 25000 becuase i rememebr watching the channel on the jet blue tv that says how high up you are and when i last looked at it, it read 40000 ft. and we werent still continuing to go up.

It was you that made a definite statement about altitude and have had to back down when it was shown that you could not be correct. Sadly this means your entire claim has to be doubted, even if it is true.

As Waspie indicated, your story lacks credibility because you did in fact state what altitude the on board video was indicating...an altitude which the Airbus cannot fly at.

As to the last sentence...I have gone up in a plane...just a few times wink2.gif . I can estimate altitude rather well visually. However, no one can do so when their eyes are closed.

If you are stating that you couldn't estimate the altitude because your eyes were closed, then it should stand to reason that you couldn't have seen what you said you saw either!

if you were referring to Boeing 777 (777-200LR) then typically, the 777's cruise altitude is 35,000 feet (10,668 meters), and its cruise speed is Mach 0.84, about 484 miles (779 kilometers) per hour.

Very interesting.. thank you for sharing.

This also reminds me of another person that "gets a feeling" Read and see about this here:

Buddyless whats with the abuse? If you really need proof il take a pic of my world cup ticket but i doubt i have the plane ticket as all i was left with was the stub with my seat number on it, which you will no doubt know if you travel a lot. I flew on a HLX flight to cologne and returned on EASYJET. Il try and find the ticket stub its probably still in my passport if you really want proof i flew. Surley you should be contesting the fact that i saw what was in your pictures not the fact that i went on an aeroplane.
Half
buddyless, thanks for taking the time to upload those pictures. They don't show a whole lot, but it's a camera phone so that's expected. Real or not, even hoaxes make the unexplained as captivating as it is.

It does look like reflections off a window but it could be something else. Unless you have something seriously wrong with you, you wouldn't waste your time arranging shiny objects and taking reflections of them on a plane. Not to mention defend your position for 4 months tongue.gif
It's your personal experience, it's going to be hard to share it with other people who weren't there with just a camera phone.

p.s. get a video phone for next time wink2.gif
snuffypuffer
Again, ain't it grand how people will believe whatever they want, and wouldn't even consider otherwise even with proof shoved right up their noses?
