This stuff was considered unprovable, and left to the imaginations of New Age gurus and others thought of as wackos. This is not to fault those scientists; it's their job to be skeptical and to be able to prove, as best they can, whether or not something is true or likely. Now science is doing just that with regard to some forms of ESP and telekinesis. Research conducted at Princeton University and other research laboratories around the world is confirming that thought alone can influence random events, with aid of computers, sensitive instrumentation, and robotics, science now has the tools with which to test and measure the subtle influences of the human mind and reveal how it can possibly affect inanimate objects, electronics, and perhaps other human minds. The implications are astounding and far-fetching. Science is beginning to shake hands with the pararnormal.

This is just an excerpt from the article an interesting concept. Perhaps science might one day prove the things that have been unprovable....first one must be willing to have an open mind.

mellow.gif Nice post, i too have read that they have made these starps that you strap too youre head and supposedly youre brain wave increase to move this metal ball, its real interesting actually, the newest form of tk. innocent.gif

Thank you for your thoughts. I love science and I do have faith that science will break new frontiers in this area as they are doing. Perhaps the cry for video evidence is an understatement compared to what science will do in this area.

I have an open mind, and as such i find it an interesting read. nice find! yes.gif

Nice find. I hope that science finally acknowledges some of this stuff.

It's sad how people who believe in things that others don't they are called wackos. =/

Yes Zero it is sad. I believe thats why people generally like to remain anonymous when discussing such things.

Science has been studying this stuff for generations and some scientists have witnessed telekenisis and ESP but the findings were that of an uncontrolled study. The difference now is that technology is making way for scientitst to be able to prove the once unprovable.
It will certainly be interesting to see where they take it all.

I bet this guy got a lot of money from this BS.

In fact, the whole team benefitted from it in some way, except for the Hawaiian physicist.

I couldn't disagree with you on anyone's motives. Money and such is a powerful motivator. Many people strive to invent things or come up with new ideas for money. It does not nessassarily mean its BS. Also taking into account that an ivy league school is involved.
Do we really believe that Princeton would allow the continuation of a scientific study that wielded no results?

Only one of them was from Princeton. To answer your question:

No, that's why they make the results up.

So not only are millions of people lying about extraordinary experiences but the scientists are too? blink.gif

The minority of those people are lying it. The scientists (if they really are scientists) are lying it, and the rest have imagined it, fuelled by false information.

You could take your comment and switch a few words around:

So not only are the laws of physics and several hundred millions of people lying about the impossibility of psychic phenomena, but several hundred thousand scientists scientists are too? blink.gif

Money in relation to the paranormal is a double edged sword in other words its being made by both sides.

Wombat were do you get the idea that several hundred thousand scientist deny the impossibility of PSI???

Do you know who David Bohm is Wombat......

Any thoughts?

It doesn't sound like you are interested in proving anything except what you believe.

For one thing who saids that psychic phenomena breaks the natural laws of physics?
Science is always pushing new frontiers. Ask Peter Lynds. We do not know everything and for one to assume that they know the unexplainable sounds alot like others who kept claiming the world was flat.

There could very well be a logical explanation that we are not yet advanced enough technologically to understand....science itself will tell you the same thing. Just ask them to explain how a baby falls out of a two story window on concrete and suffers no injuries. They can't. Could there be a logical explanation? Absolutely but you'll never know if you close your eyes and ears.

For the record Wombat, David Bohm actually resolved certain problems Einstein, Podlodowski and Rosen, could not figure our in relation to a Paradox they were working on (this is why today it is known as ERPB Phenomenon rather than EPR Phenomenon).

In reality....

Any thoughts?
