It is good in that it shows people that what they want tro see does not necessarily coorelate to what they actually saw.
Props for the post ET

My friend say he was gazing at the night sky one night and his uncle * i think or his friend* said "hey look, a shooting star", and then it stopped and did a 90 degree turn, he had the same smiling face the whole time looked at his uncle and just left, lol.

Fireball meteors (bolides) can look very weird. The color green is produced by ionized oxygen, meteroids do not contain significant amounts of copper. As for the 'change in direction' this is often reported after the main explosion...a piece of the meteor is simply being cast out from the exploding body. The appearance of dripping or melting is also often reported.

lilly is like a real life scully when u think about it. anyway, if it was a meteor did anyone find it after? like did it even hit earth at all. and im a beleiver, but this one doesnt look like a ufo really. but if we didnt get to see it, if it actually hit the earth then were not gonna know i guess.

Sometimes bolides literally blow to 'smitherines' (ie, very small fragments, not one big chunk) and the bits are hard to find.
Yeah, I'm a lot more like Scully than Mulder. But, if I ever saw/experienced as much as that woman did... Well, let's just say, I would most likely become more like Mulder!
Interesting aside...I have reddish brown hair.

I have posted a great deal of info about why meteors and fireballs behave as they do. I am not in the mood to find these posts, but suffice it to say, that a search on Google would answer many of the Qs about this.

The "green light" shown in this video looks similar to what this guy video taped in Cali back on January 18th, 2006.

Copper will burn green, I forget what else. Maybe there was a Vulcan in the meteor?

EDIT: in response to Cinders
I am about 100% sure that this video is the Stardust capsule reintering athmosphere with a parachute deploying. This guy changed the date, hour everything...i've even wrote to Brian Vike about it.
Sonora (where he lives is East of San Francisco) was on the path of the capsule before landing in Utah ON THE 15th (not the 18th as his camera shows) and was supposed to enter atmosphere at a 15 to 20 degree angle (see link below).
http://reentry.arc.nasa.gov/elevation.jpgBy looking at this video it surely looks like it's been filmed at about this height in the sky, and in the direction of Orion who was precisely Northeast in the California sky at this time, Utah IS northeast of this location (screenshot taken from WinStars 2.0 on the 15th)
Anyways, this could not be Stardust, but there's a good chance it is !
