about two days ago i had a dream about a little boy about 7-8 he was completly grey all over and just followed me every where he just kept smiling i dont understand what it could mean

Hard to give anything about this dream... I think you need to tell us more about this dream, like where you were while this little grey kid followed you... was it day or night. that kind of stuff.

in the dream i wake up and hes standing at the end of my bed at i freak out and start yelling but then i calm down he just feels so familiar but i never seem him before its morning when hes following me

I think you're going through a major change/upheaval in your life and the little grey boy represents your old self trying to cling on to the past. Are you having trouble adapting to anything major at the moment?

Or maybe you are looked up to by someone and the responsibility feels too much. In this scenario the grey boy would represent the responsibility "shadowing you" as you go about your business.
