Yep, obviously you're in an old building where that picture is taken. By walking in you're stirring up all kinds of dust.

And the 'energy drain' is clearly just the motion blur. Your friend obviously moved the phone while the shutter was open. Happens all the time.

well, the reason why i say its paranormal is because i also have pictures of ectoplasm from the same compound (its an abandoned insane aslyum) i also have evps and entities on video when i stayed overnight and of course, every time i go there somthing paranormal happens, anything from hearing voices and a girl giggling to footsteps , doors shutting right in front, on side, or in proximity to us. my account is one of several hundred that sharees the same paranormal propoerties so you cannot say it is all normal in there

Here's my take.


These look like the dust orbs, not the paranormal spirit orbs, and the phone was moved quickly and left a trail of light when the picture was taken.

Not saying it's true, but very possible.



EDIT: Wow, on that last picture... is that a huge orb or am I seeing things?

No one is saying the place you went isn't haunted but the math adds up against you for the first picture.

1. Abandoned location = lots of dust being shuffled into the air by moving people which you can see all the moving people there.
2. Never have I seen a photo of energy being drained from a device physically. As a professional photographer I can tell you that was motion blur from him moving the cell phone. The reason that the cell phone light blurred and nothing else did is because it has it's own illumination while nothing else does. Everything else was caught in a brief flash. However, the shutter stays open longer than the flash goes off so the light from the cell phone was caught moving by the shutter before or after the flash went off.

1 + 2 = 3. It's dust.

Not sure about the second photo though. It is clearly not dust as you can see when you compare the way the orb looks between the two photos. It is possible it could be a light lens flare from the flash reflecting off the metal above your head where you can see the flash has reflected but I can't say for sure.

Yes, it is rather large, although I ahve had an experience with flying orange orbs that I saw with my eyes, not on a picture, after my friend had taunted the spirits in the hause saying he could be a better ghost than him.

the orb could be a reflection of light onto dust or the lens itself. (note the flashlight)
however, there is a large black square in the room...that intrigues me...

this forum has put me off ever going on a ghost hunt, as this is all that ever seems to come of them.

look at how old and dry the rooms are, the walls, furniature and everything are Peeling off!
you even move in that area and youre gonna kick up a load of dust, whatever the air conditions are, and then you go and use a flash.

That is not true. Videotapes I have will say otherwise, however I cannot post video on the internet because I have an old school video camera but dont say nothing happens. Bring along dowsing rods, video camera, and a voice recorder

I did that. I slept there overnight with a few friends who vowed never to go back there again after hearing the EVPs and seeing the video that we left running for a portion of the night.

The orbs are just dust...your in a dusty place, what can you expect? The cellphone was just moving. A motion blur.
