I found few rock crystals in the open of Indian mound, some are particularly easy to find, noting the type of rich mineral rocks there.

There's a legend (?) that if you take a rock from it's native ground, a curse is put on you until you return it. ohmy.gif

Cool finds, anyway, thumbsup.gif

....I have rocks from places......dang, but I am so not willing to drive back to where I got them...(various locations across the USA all west of South Dakota) I don't think I can even remember where I got them all, although there is one from a state park in Colorado..which is supposedly like all "illegal" or something... ph34r.gif

I heard about the bad luck thing about taking rocks.

So does that means those geologists who collect stones are cursed? What about the opals and diamonds your mum wears?

What about the gemstones stalls?

Personally I feel that it's even a good omen, kind of like finding a 4 leafed clover.original.gif

lotus_spring have you ever wounder what these stones/crystals are?
If you ask me they look like quartz clusters with inclusions of rose quartz(or red granite)

I love Geology myself, and I am always looking for a good find. If any of you crystal enthusiasts find your way to Atherton, you should check out the crystal caves. http://www.crystalcaves.com.au/ .This is their car they drive tongue.gif

by looking at the picture that has few faddish pink on the crystals. it's more likely an rose quartz as is it's part of the family of quartz crystals it has good energy balance aslo good flow energy around it. at times it good for release stress and trauma some short it depends on the person energy flow.
