Not always, too much confidence can lead one down the wrong path.
i have been doing extensive research on the matter and it is documented on numerous amounts of animal attacks and other violent casings that werewolves are in fact real but there are different types of werewolves. There are three types of werewolves to be precise. One is called Lycanthropic Disorder where the subject believes he is a wolf but never transforms. The second is the full transformation such as you see in horror stories ( there are two different types of transformers, the Alpha and Beta or the Voulantary transformers and the Invoulantary transformers), and finally the third which is a spirtual werewolf where the subject emmits his spirit from the body and the spirit takes the form of the wolf, or whatever their totem or spiritual animal is.
i learned a lot from you.
Wow, you picked up alot in three sentences. (K - 4 if you count why? as a sentence) I hope you learned that doubt is a good thing and not to blindly believe everything that takes your fancy.
Hrrmzzz, didn't see that comment as overly confident at all, just using common sense

I mean really, you don't honestly expect me to believe that someone could transorm into a wolf under the full moon do you? Some unlucky people have a disorder that grows excessive hair. They do not need to bay bray howl or run around on all fours or eat other people. They do not turn into wolves, puppies or any type of canine entity at any time.
Seeing a big paralell here -
There are 3 types of Werewolves
There are 3 types of Vampires
There is the genuine sick person unlucky enough to contract a nasty disease
There is the person who follows all the movie stereotypes with no powers
There is the type with all the powers who does all the creepy stuff that sounds cool to a gothy teen with a self esteem problem. This appers to be the most common form of Werewolf/Vampire in forums.
As for the animal attacks, I reckon an ABC would be a far more likely candidate than a Werewolf. They exist which is a good starting point.
I don't think that doing a search at ask.com and reading some webpages consitutes 'extensive research', it would merely give an outline and many views on a subject. Perhaps a link or two to back any claims/theories, or other forms of 'evidence' would be good too. Your 'research' could be confirmed hoaxes. Hoaxes exist and are more common than Werewolves. Some of the readers here may be able to expedite your research.
You are not kidding WereBo, geez it would have been good to grow up with the net!! I remember getting the weekly magazine "The Unexplained" got the binders and all, learned heaps from that book, including that it is smarter to be skeptical

. They even had MIB documented back then!!!
Hrrmzz Crazy Harry is a Werepenguin hey. That should shake up the aquatic life in the Poles.
I care Crazy Harry, I care. I believe in the Werepenguin, just not the Werewolf.
