This will sound stupid...because it is! (More or less because I am...)

Having the level of skill that I do with computers (Do not get me started on how low that is as the division of 1% would take quite some time)

Basically this is what I would like to know...To place an image in my signature I need to ...upload...download...whatever word that is intended to be...one from a website...now if I intend to create my own image does this mean what I have to create a website? How would I do this...if there is another way...beyond creating a website...I would like to know...

It worked! Not the image that I intend to keep...but still...
Universal Absurdity
Go to photobucket.com there is a free account option, sign up. Once you have an account you can upload any picture that you have on your computer, and it will give you the code to use on the board. the IMG tagged url.

*ive removed the image that you just had in there, it was far too large. Please see theSignature Size Guidelines before you add your image

Since I had this typed before UA moved it on me, I'll just post it in here. tongue.gif

Go to:

www.tinypic.com

click "Browse"

Look through your computer on the pop-up window for the image file you want.

Click it.

Then click "Host Image"

***wait*** (about 3 seconds, depending on net speed)

Scroll down and highlight the htm line with the word "Link" on the side, right click and copy that link.

Go back to UM

Click "My controls" on top

Scroll down, look on the left hand side for the words "Personal Profile" under that click "Edit Signature"

Once you're there, click the image button (one with the tree on it), then in that pop-up window paste the html link.

Click "Ok" and it will give you the code, then you scroll down and click then "Update my Signature"

Remember, sigs can't be bigger then 50kb in file size and 500x150 in image size. original.gif

Hope this helps.
