A WOMAN stabbed her husband because he bought her cheap flowers on Valentine’s Day, a court heard.
Toni Young, 28, grabbed a kitchen knife in a row with husband Gary Hall. As they struggled, she thrust it into his side.

Stephen Winberg, prosecuting, said: “She was angry with the victim for buying inferior flowers.”

She was spared jail after the judge heard he had taken her back.

Young, of Dagenham, Essex, admitted unlawful wounding at Snaresbrook Crown Court, East London, and got a two-year community order.

I have always stopped and grabbed a flower that I thought was pretty from a field, or even grabbed one of those crack-pipe roses from the quicky mart. It was just my way of saying, hey, you were on my mind.
No one ever stabbed me for it!
