Hypothetically........

Imagine that the worst parts of Africa and Asia are actually civilizations on another world.
You give them basics in sanitation, health care, law, and ethics. You agonize over all the pain and the suffering that you see them go through, and you keep trying because you love all life.

When anything goes wrong it is your fault because you are so powerful and so advanced that of course it is all your fault simply because you have been seen to be there meddling. Each time there is a bad occurence all the good you might have done is forgotten in a moment as the accusations are heeped on to you.

We see this happen all the time as highly industrialized nations interact with more primitively evolved civilizations. Do you really think that human nature would react that much differently if it involved more advanced civilizations interacting with less advanced ones?

Whenever we question why things are the way the are, often the answers are right at our finger tips, but we just do not want to see them.

Your comment is very thoughtful and interesting.

It makes me wonder: What gifts might aliens give us, which we would at first embrace, but then go on to screw up our lives again anyway?

• What if aliens gave us a foolproof way to stop all wars on our planet?

• What if aliens gave us an unlimited source of pollution free energy?

• What if they solved the problem of depression, so that nobody ever so much as ever felt "down-in-the-dumps again"?

• What if they demystified all religions, finally clearing up questions like these for good?

Could we screw these things up, make life worse, and then blame it on the aliens? Just food for thought.

What an extraordinary way of looking at alien intervention..? The way I see it is like this...
Mankind is still in it's infancy stage. We still are finding out about particle science, the building blocks of the universe... We have yet to trully grasp the full machanics of how it all operates..?
I think 'ET' is watching our every movement and will intervene when our science is at a significant stage...but not just yet..!

I see your point..I think that maybe one of the reason we have so many UFO' sighting's when ever we do test like with the first nuclar bomb..They may want to watch us and help us..But yet they can't really let us know that....

I agree that they have interacted with humans for more than over 50 years but as for teaching us their technologies in space travel...I dont think so..! Our comprehension of certain laws of physics are of the minimal understanding...?

Bella has made some good points. As did the others.

However, time and resources are a limited affair, for top level species. They come along after many others have expired, live off of their predecessor's remains, and try to insure a continued survival. Unless they have tapped the holy grail of energy and can just give way to wanderlust, they must struggle to survive. Even if they are advanced.

If they are like us, then the common theme is evolution, survival and maturing, and then hitting a bell curve. That is when it is nice to have alternatives.

If the 'greys', or whomever, are telepaths, I could well imagine the regimentation that would entail when employing a survival strategy. They become largely homogenous.
The idea of living in a kind of cosmic utopia would be only for those who have access to that kind of mentality. Although, we could be equal to any task, I am not selling us out.

They may be more busy than we could imagine, tending to their own massive system.

The 'greys' may be hardened, for all we know. Perhaps they are even eccentric, we don't know, but they are certainly not front and center with cutting us in.

Aliens have invaded the Earth!

What is God also know as the Holy Spirit? …Well I guess you could call him an Alien.

A spirit is just pure energy. Energy creates atoms. Atoms are the basic building blocks of matter that make up everyday objects. A desk, the air, even you are made up of atoms! All things are made of atoms.

Could it be possible that this energy made the Heavens and the Earth?”

Religion Vs. Evolution…

Since God made the Heavens and The Earth this would include species from other planets… And we would all be creatures of God.

Since the world is 12.5 billion years old and Scientist’s have found proof of life that is millions of years old. Could it be that God a scientist created all sorts of species? And possible he created a prehistoric version that evolved. WD-40 got it’s name because it is the scientists 40 attempt. Possibly after he saw what he liked he made different models in different shapes and colors.

So there you go, maybe both are right…

And of coarse they would demystified all religions. Because all religions are an offshoot of the same religion. All religions have a God. Some just believe that Jesus is the Son.

Which gifts would they give us which we would at first embrace, but then go on to screw up our lives again anyway? …People don’t change!
