As we all know, dark matter exists in huge quantities in the universe. Up to 70% off all matter could possible dark.
Ongoing research is probing our sattelite galaxies, most notable SagDEG to test current drak matter theories.
SagDEG is a miniature S2 Galaxy orbiting the Milky Way. Our galaxy has been feasting on SagDEG, ripping off its arms. A galaxy of this size should already show warping of its galactic core, but none has been found yet. UofM Professors say that to be this size and not warp yet, SagDEG must hold much more mass than previously thought! The only matter that could do this is dark matter.
research is currently going on at UofM Ann Arbor!
