Hi im new here, so forgive me if this has been posted before. I am very interest in buddhism but there is a doubt about rebirth and enlightenment. Millions and Millions of years ago there were no humans and so that means there wasnt intelligent life on Earth (i assume) so during that time, how would you become enlightened and reach Nirvarna, i mean dinosaurs wouldnt be able to understand anything about Nirvarna or the 4 noble truths. So can you be reborn into an alien on another planet or something according to budhism or does rebirth even actually happen.
