LOL attackage... and lmao for the poster above who pointed out this topic was started by rambo III...

As far as werewolves go, I'd like to see one so I can shoot it. I normally don't wander off into these topics but the title got me here, the lions, the tigers, the werewolves... oh my...

Yes, I know of someone. It happened in a field back in the 80's. Two American guys were warned to "stick to the road" and "beware the moon" by some blokes with a weird Yorkshire accent. They didn't listen and strayed onto the moores and both were attacked - only one lived.

Don't worry. The guy who lived (after attacking some poor man in the underground in London) was shot by the police. He's long gone, so don't be alarmed. original.gif

My word and Indeed.

I mean, we all know how many species of Werewolf man has made extinct. wacko.gif

Thank goodness we have sensitive members like Crazy Hary, I heard the Werepenguin colony was nearing extinction but I heard he went underground with the remaining several hundered and disappeared for a couple of years....... w00t.gif

yeah..... well iv been pretty much looking around here for a while , this is my first post...

anyways, back on topic , i have as far as my knowlege ( which is very big on this stuff) have been attacked by a werewolf

About one month ago i was walking home from my friends B-day ( at night) and I decied to take a short cut through the woods, i was walking through there and i get this errie felling that im being whatched... ( i at this time think its big foot) so i start to jog and i still got that felling after about 5 mins so i quickly turned around , and there was nothing there ( and i had read how some people think BF can shapeshift) so i started to get scared , i then tured around and started to run , and behind me i hear twigs snapping and stuff so i grab a stick of the ground and turn around and theres this great big black dog ( think it had yellow glowing eyes as far as i can rember) i then start to run again and this dog or werewolf jumps on top of me and start trying to bite me , i then procced to wack it with the stick , it then bit me and then ran off into the woods, i then ran home and put some disenfectit on the bite (rabies?) i told my parents , but they said its probaly some stray dog , but i disagree that thing was huge!

P.S i then latter to the doctor to get the bite checked out and he said im fine ( no rabies!)

first off , if that was a werewolf then ( as legand goes ) i am now a werewolf? but i highly doubt this , cuse since iv been bittin nothing new has happened besides this one guy who did get attacked by a dog ( same one that attacked me?) but thank god im not a werewolf , id go bank rupt buying meat!

^^ I thought it took a while for them to check for rabies? We don't have it in our country.

Anyway the dog that bit you needs to be found, not because it's a werewolf but the fact it's already attacked 2 people it'll go on attacking others. Maybe contact your local animal control.

It takes 3-12 weeks on average for symptoms to appear, but can take up to 2 years. During this period the virus is extremely hard to detect. For this reason, vaccination is usually applied within 14 days of suspected infection. Since the dog was not found and could not be tested, the natural response would be to administer vaccine, just in case.

Swbf2, if you were indeed attacked and your doctor proclaimed you rabies-free, I advise you to see a better doctor. Rabies has no cure and is almost invariably fatal. Those few cases in which a person has survived resulted in permenant brain damage. No doctor should be taking the chance that the virus had escaped detection.

!!!!!! ok , well i did get a vaccine for rabies , and i took another test for it with another doctor , and she says " well anit this a little miracale , you aint got rabies" ( lol shes a hill billy) and i imformed her about what you said , and she said "well you must be verrrrrrrrrrrrrry lucky" , oh and i did report this to my local animal control and they said there try to chatch him/her

AND there has been a 3rd attack , in the forest again , but that kid just got scratched a little

P.S the police have blocked off the forest

noyritus
Lol, Rabies is not that fatal as you describe. Yes it is still very horrible and you'll have a series of shots in the stomach but the fatality rate these days in the United States is no where as bad as you say.
Pax Unum
learn something new every day.... who knew you could get rabies from a werewolf bite grin2.gif

if you are looking for a definition of werewolf then here it is, the mythical creature as people know it is only myth. its not true, men who are infected do not turn at the full moon and change form. but! there is such a thing as werewolf, this is fact, they are simply montain and forest wolves who have overgrown, not to such unreal sizes as a ear say, but to the size of maybe a large great dane *very big doggy* so there it is, werewolf, the facts.

There seems to be some confusion here, so allow me to clarify.

A case of full-blown rabies cannot be cured. It is almost always fatal in humans. The disease is quite serious.

However, as I said, rabies lies dormant for some time after infection. If the vaccine is delivered promptly, before symptoms start appearing, then it is more than 90% effective at preventing a case of full-blown rabies.

Thus, you are correct in saying that with treatment it can be controlled. However, I am also right in saying that it cannot be cured once symptoms have begun to manifest.

You will, of course, forgive me if I call you a liar. The vaccine for rabies requires a series of injections over a period of several weeks. I find it hard to believe one could be so confused as to mistake a clean bill of health for a series of painful shots.

Or are you suggesting that you went to a different doctor and got the vaccine? As I said, the treatment takes several weeks, and if you started yesterday, you could not possibly be finished today.

I would also ask why, as a new member, you have chosen to post exactly twice, both times in relation to this thread. It has been my experience that new members post as often as they can. There are many threads in relation to werewolves which one would imagine would have struck your fancy...unless, of course, you are using a fake account to post lies. How juvenile.

Not the first, wont be the last.

Welcome to UM original.gif

For what it's worth I will tell you that there was indeed a series of Werewolf sightings in Johannesburg South Africa in the late eighties near the town of Boksburg I believe it was on or close to an old rubbish dump.

This was reported in the popular South African magazine PERSONALITY in 1988, I think that this periodical has now ceased publication, but you may be able to track it down if you try hard enough.

I think that the crux of the article was that these creatures where shape shifting satanists that had assumed wolf-like form.

I do for sure recall reading this article bur you must bear in mind that this was apartheid era South Africa and draw to your own conclusions as to its' validity. alien.gif
Harpie Lady
PETER STUBBE was the first werewolf encounter by mankind. It was in 1591 around Germany in the town of Cologne & Bedburg that the recording are documented.

He was put on the torture wheel and confessed to 16 murders including pregante women and children, he said he first started socery at 12 and that he made a pact with the devil..

There are other recording with similliar stories of people making pacts with the devil in exchange to change into a werewolves.......The blair witch followers believed this too......... and hey you never know just like god allows miracles for good the devil might grant his followers evil miracles too..............

Hrrmmzzzz, you don't think one would scream whatever it takes to get off a torture wheel?? If he indeed did all that, then it was a fitting way to dispose of such rubbish.

We all know how valid Blair Witch is................I guess if one believed Blair Witch, it should not be hard to convice that person Werewolves exist.

The Devil always goes back on his word - evil and decietful remember? Even if he does grant your wish, threre will be a catch and the wish will never be what you wanted.
Accident
I know how to see a werewolf:
Get stoned, drunk, see a werewolf movie, go to the movies or the zoo, or better yet, look in the mirror, VIOLA a werewolf

ok seriously, it all happened hundreds years ago, theres a deciese ( sickness , srry cant spell) that you grow hairs in EVERY single part of your body, and so people used to get drunk and see things, or werewolfs, that disease still exists today, just we not that stupid...or so we think we not

couldnt a werewolf just be a extra skinny bigfoot/beat? or an actualy wolf walking in 2 legs? like a gorilla walking in two legs make Big Foot...

ALSO:
in Africa, dont they practice ALOT of voodoo and witch craft? so it might be true,
OR it could just be some guy in an animal hide killing people, seriously, theres some disiease were you hear voices and you do what they tell you etc.

and blair witch is FAKE...dunno why but it is...why would someone make a movie of a film, and why is the "film" exatly as long as a movie? UH UH>????
