the original wonders list is impressive

but, maybe it needs to be revised ?

the original list doesnt include the Great Wall of China

or the Taj Mahal

maybe we should also include the space station ?

how would the list look now ?

the 7 Wonders of the World ver. 2.0

how many and which of the originals still make the list ?

7 wonders

id have to say my favorite of the originalswould be the Colossus

A Modern 7 wonders list has already been made: http://www.asce.org/history/seven_wonders.cfm
Although that's kind of a boring list since it doesn't include even Taipei 101.

I do think that the clay army of Qin Huang Ling should be in the ancient list.

Humph!!!user posted image The ASCE left Stonehenge off the list. What a surprise....

It's only the 2nd greatest engineering feat since the pyramids.....

The "Wonders" lists (note the use of plural form in list-S) is a composite of several listS. 7 wonders of the modern world, 7 wonders of the ancient world, 7 wonders of the natural world and so on.
Everything is included, The Great Wall of China to The Dog (yes, the dog is the sixth wonder of the natural world, the human in the seventh), it just depends on which list you looking at.

i never thought it would be so tough for people to just list 7 wonders

i dont care if you want to put the pyramids, dogs, nanobots, and the moon all on the same list

The seven ancient wonders are remarkably unimpressive.

Only two...the statue of Helios and Giza truly qualify.

And hell, can they even prove the existence of the statue of Zeus?

Hanging gardens of Babylon over Stonehenge and the Great Wall? Harf!

ok the great wall as we know it today was built in the 1300's. before that it was earthworks with watchtowers. this certainly wouldnt qualify as a "wonder" in ancient times.

and stonehenge?

yeah right.
scipherel
The Twin Towers should be included.
Makes me "WONDER" how it went down.

Very impressive, the things Dubai is doing now. Building islands, working on the world's tallest building, and completing the world's largest mall (which will sadly take that title from a mall in my hometown).

Oil can do wonders for an economy. Which is, of course, why Alberta has/had the world's largest mall.
