i was driving about 10mph
we were in the grounds of an empty old hospital
it now has only a few building remaining, the main one a building that i think dates back to 1600s and we were heading away from that when we seen it. it was a narrow road with trees at either side. we seen the mist move from right to left and it was more like smoke than mist very thick
it was right in front of the head lights.
there was no wind that night so i dont think it could be mist coming from the trees going at that speed
Scott, please give me the city and state this occurred in. We can pull up Satelite imagery of the area and wind directions, and if you know the date, we can pull up the history of wind direction, elevation which effects turbulance. For example, a valley in low elevation will pull cold air down in to the valley and then if mixed with warm air cold, humidity...etc..could cause mist formation at any given time.....etc...

i posted this on another topic but i thought i would bring it up and see if anyone could help me out.........
untill last night i would have said "why do people always run away when they see a ghost "
but now after last night after seeing what im sure was a ghost i know why.
Next time, don't run, but go towards it. Best time is to go by yourself so people will not influence you to run.
