Harold Shipman is possibly one of the worst serial killers in history, mainly because of how many people he killed and the scary fact that he was a doctor.

But still I think, he is not the worst serial killer ever because killing or eating children is more terrific than killing old people.

He's one strange serial killer. One of the few who doesn't fit into the parameters of what psychologist expects!

All the things I have read about him describe him as a non-violent man and he really didn't -toy- with his victims to reinforce his "power". They all died peacefully in a sense. Which is sort of odd for a serial killer.

I personally feel he hated the elderly - he once described them as "being a drain on the health system"

a couple of our freinds went to shipmans surgery. some of our other freinds also knew those doctors that got arrested because they ignored his extremely high death rates...weird

He was a serial killer by the definition of serial killer. I think he was a sociopath.

He was evil, he killed over 200 people and abused his position. He killed himself so he couldn't even be punished for what he had done.

^Amen to that.He new that he would die in prison so he ended it early.

Oh definitely a sociopath of the very worst kind - no conscience whatever and only hanged himself top avoid a long stretch inside, I should think.
