I am assuming that your health is good,,,that you have no heart, lung, sickle cell disease or stomach problems that could cause this chest pain, and I'm assuming that you haven't been coughing a lot lately, which can cause muscle soreness of your chest wall and actually even fracture a rib. I am further making the presumption that you don't currently have allergies, brochitis, pneumonia or a plural sack infection which can also cause severe chest pain. I'm also going on the assumption that you ate no spicy foods that may have given you heartburn. Finally, I am taking it for granted that you did nothiing strainious that might have caused you to have muscle soremess. However, if none of the above applies to you. but you experience another such episode of pain like this one,,,go to your Physician immediatey!!!
As I always say in these circumstances, because I was a Professional Los Angeles County California Paramedic for 10 years, I must first take health conditions into consideration.
Having covered all of this, I'll move to my skeptical side which compels me to assume that while you were sitting there and you got the impression that you were being watched or that someone was behind you, you simply had an anxiety attack and that's what caused your pain. (Anxiety Attacks, A.K.A. Panic Attacks, are often mistaken for heart attacks. Panic Attacks are defined by a long list of symptoms that includes Chest Pain and Shortness Of Breath.) Generally Anxiety Attacks are brought on by extreme fear or shock, however there is a condition called Panic Disorder where people experience these attacks often many times per day, for no reason whatsoever. (There are medical treatments for this condition though.) You may have simply imagined that someone was behind you and you became so frightened that you reacted by having a Panic Attack!
Aside from the possibility that you just imagined that someone was behind you,,,you might have been in the waking-sleep condition called "hypnogogia," during which you are alert and yet you have a "dream," and it's very convincing. This normally happens in the morning shortly after you have awakened.
Moving on to the supernatural,,,are you sure that there was no one behind you? You can"feel" the presence of any living being near you, including an animal. If you are positive that there was no human behind you, then consider that if you have a cat or a dog or whatever, are you certain that it wasn't actually behind you and you just picked up on it's "vibes?"
Perhaps there was a ghost, (a human spirit,) behind you and it tried to possess you or you had a brief psychic connection to that individual who might have died of a heart attack, lung diease, a crushing trauma to the chest or even a gunshot to the chest and you felt that person's dying pain. Maybe it was a warning or a message to you of some sort,,,you might want to keep that in mind.
This entity might have actually been a demon that attempted to harm you or possess you. In this event, I'd advise you to pray for protection many times per day. Have you been playing with Tarot Cards are Ouija Boards at some time in the past? This often opens you up to demonic or evil spirit problems. Whether you have or haven't,,,DON'T!!!
wow....i sometimes get really bad pains in my lower back....and no i havent played with ouija boards lately
