Has anyone heard about the new movie coming out based on the book - The Celestine Prophecy??? Not too sure what to think. I read some of the books. Some of the ideas are revelant, but some are out there as well. Any opinions???

Does anyone know where or when the movie is showing?????

I've been trying to get this book set from eBay for a few months now - always get outbidded I'mnot sure if a film would do the books credit, as films always seem to be second rate to the book they're based on...

I bought 2 of the books at a used book store. I found some info intresting.

Try Amazon, they do also sell used books there to. Or... if you are bidding on Ebay, find what you are looking for, then wait (if you can) until the last 30 seconds to bid. It works 95% of the time for me!

There was a strange part of my life where I had deeply thought of life in general and what it was all about. I was hooked on thinking life was planned and some interesting coincidences occurred to me whilst my mind was on that pathway. For a week after a very wierd but wonderful coincidence occured, my mind was trying to figure out as to why it happened. Laying on my bed, I had a strong urge to go to the bookstore which is something of a rarity. Upon entering the bookstore, another strong urge overcame me and I picked up this book called "The Celestine Prophecy". I had turned it over to read the back cover, and lo & behold, the first word that my eyes focused on was "coincidences". Another shock to the brain occured as I had recalled the word "coincidences" had been strong in my mind that day. Anyway, I bought the book took it home and discovered that there were a lot of similarities between what I was thinking about how life evolves and what was in the book! I had skimmed the parts on discussing it with anyone as it was just a train of thought and realized that I could be just delusional, plus I didn't think anyone would understand! My mind was moving back and forth between a Fantasy and Reality!
These days I choose not to think about the pathway and just take life as it happens as my mind became too preoccupied with thinking!

Anyway, I hope the movie is as good as the book!

Thanks for the story. i have many books that have chose me as well. I think the book over all was pretty good, but like you I don't follow "the path'.
