I recently moved into a house from an apartment. My boyfriend and I bought it from this very nice older man who was retiring and wanted a smaller living space. We recently heard that he passed away in his sleep. Two days later I woke up because I wanted a drink. I walked into the kitchen and I swear all of my cupboards were open. All the drawers were open too and the light was on. So I shut them all and got a drink and went back to bed. When I got up the next morning they were all open again. This was about 5 months ago. Nothing has happened since then.

I was just wondering if anyone had had a similar experiance.

I have never had such an experience personally, but I know someone who has experienced the exact same thing! This man is a widower and he believes that it was his' late-wife was just letting him know that she was still with him...

He feels that he's also seen his late-wife on several occssions, both before and after the kitchen incident...

Perhaps the former owner of your dwelling was back to search for something that he left behind, or it's possible that he was just a bit hungry and was looking for a snack, or maybe he was back just to see how you keep the kitchen...

yes I've many a tale about being haunted. I lived in a haunted appartment for about a year, after a seance I did that went bad. We moved and thankfully it didn't follow us. Now we have a shadowperson who shows up now and then, it doesn't do anything to bother us really, except spook us. lol.

Yeah, I had a similar experience when I first visited the flat I have now lived in for 16 years. My parents had just started moving all our stuff from our old place and I decided to stay in the new flat to sort out my new bedroom. I was 10 years old, and sitting on the floor between the boxes of books and toys when I heard a voice whisper "Shhh, don`t tell anyone!". I freaked right out, believe me! I ran downstairs, there was no-one in the house, and around five minutes later my parents came back with more boxes. I told them what I had heard, and they checked to ensure there was no-one there. There wasn`t. I never heard the voice again. Maybe that`s because it told me not to tell anyone, and I had. Who knows, but I`m still a bit freaked out by it.

Yep, I've done that, and it has explained a lot of my sightings. There's been times when I have driven home but don't remember driving. I even remeber one time, I was eating breakfast and still remeber the way the food tasted, and the next thing I knew, I woke up out of it and I was sitting the the dinner table in the dark. During the dream, the sun was up.
I am not in denial, and it would make more sense then me denying and claiming ghost.

Back in year 2000, I do. Just one time in my life, in my own bedroom at around 2 am while i was on my bed but i was not sleeping. The bathroom light was turned on by itself. I know because the light passed through the bathroom's door's window and distracted my eyes throughout that night. I was not afraid but instead i was angry because the light distracted me and i could not easily sleep. In the morning, the light was still on and there was nobody inside the bathroom!

My friend says that when she is sleeping, she is awoken by a "pressure" on the foot of her bed, and when she looks at the foot of her bed, nothings there...

My ex babysitter had encountered freaky paranormal activity in Thailand. She spent a night at a haunted apartment room where a woman ghost used to haunt. The story talks about a young woman who hanged herself on the stair case because her boyfriend broke up with her. The anger would make her haunt her apartment room and she hates all males (boys and men) who visited the building so the men are more likely to be haunted by the ghost than women. However, unaware of hauntings, my ex babysitter spent a night in that haunted apartment room (recommendation by her friend). Her friend was in another room which was not soo haunted. Despite that the ghost hates men but she haunted my ex babysitter who was a woman, on that night!!! My ex babysitter was not sleeping and she felt unwanted presence around her bed. The fan on the ceiling was turned on by itself!!! The ghost also carried half of the bed (the part close to the legs was carried in mid-air while the front part of the bed was still on the ground)! The ghost was also shaking the bed while it was carrying. My ex babysitter was soo scared that she did not dare to turn on the light and face the ghost so she pretend that she was sleeping even if ghost was carrying her bed. It was absolutely ridiculous to pretend that you are sleeping while someone is carrying your bed. That was another freaky ghost/paranormal story that i heard from my exbabysitter!!!

You gather people of like interests in a room and you either all sit on couches, around a table or wherever you choose and have one person be the mediator or channel and turn out all the ligthts and see if you hear a spirit speak to you and or look closely around the room and see if you see a Spirit Form.

Now be respectful and no boo nonsense this is very serious and keep in mind that any spirits who appear to you are no doubt the Spirits of your friends and relatives who heard you are having a Seanse and they may be very happy to use this as an Opportunity to speak to you.

keep an open mind and if at first you don't succeed try and try again and I can assure you that in almost all cases one of your friends or relatives will appear and be very happy that you are interested in knowing they are alive in the after life.

Once you behave in a way that tells them you are no longer afraid of them as Ghosts and Spirits they no doubt will visit you more often and in many cases be very helpful to you in your everyday life.

Keep in Mind one day we will all travel beyond the Veil of Death and when we do we will be happy to know that you are not going to run screaming everytime they appear and or try to communicate with you either in person or sometimes in Dreams.

Remember poor Casper the Ghost who is so unhappy because everyone is afraid of him and can't see him and won't believe he is alive and trying to communicate with them.

Well whomever created Casper the Ghost is really trying to teach people about Life after death.

He no doubt will visit you no matter what you do with his ashes because our deceased loved ones do come back to Visit.

Its not a matter of his resting in peace he no doubt has adjusted to his death and now just comes back to pay friendly visits and let you know he is alive beyond the Veil of Death and that he can return anytime he chooses to for a Visit.

I have Spirit Guides and others who drop in on me all the time, and after 20 years I am no longer afraid of Spirits but accept them as they were when they walked the Earth.

I will say thought that I have some very nice spirits and I have one or two Relatives who are not any nicer in the After Life than they were when they walked the Earth but most people don't have any problems with communicating with Spirits.

If you loved each other when they walked the Earth then they still love you in different Worlds.

In my Case they didn't love me much when they walked the Earth and they don't love me much from where they are now.

One evening two years ago I had my first encounter with a ghost.Me and my mother were going for shopping.Before we left I saw something that creeped the hail out of me!I was heading for the door to leave when I passed by the bedroom door of my parents.The door was open and was half lit by another lamp outside the bedroom.
So I looked inside the bedroom and saw a big black shadow of a man walking towards the bed slowly!!!! I freaked out so much I couldn't move or say anything.I was looking unable to move when my mother called me to go and turned my head to reply to her.When I looked back at the door there was nothing!!!!

I thought that was my imagination but I searched the web and many sites like this and I found out I wasn't the only one who had seen that thing. Many people have seen exactly the same with me.A big shadow of a man walking from the bedroom door to the bed!

I agree with what you are saying. My mother did not like me in life and has never visited. She passed in 99. Josh has brought many family members through, and some young friend of mine who died 30 years ago. In my sleep of course. Xmas day though he was turning on a lamp in my bedroom repeatedly. One of those touch lamps. When I asked if it was him it picked up speed as if answering yes. My older son witnessed it too.

I wish I could say the same about having a spirit guide. I had a grandfather who had passed away a few years ago, who I loved dearly, and both my cousins had some sort of spiritual sign. I feel left out in a way. Being his "Favorite buddy" as he used to call me, I hoped that I would have gotten some sort of contact, in any shape or form. I try and think that he would be watching over me, but I can never be sure. It doesn't give me a sort of sense of comfort in my new place, which I have gotten numerous EVPs in....

Whether you know it or not your favorite Relatives do visit you in Spirit form and while you can't see them unless you develop your Psychic Ability and learn to communicate with them they do read your mind and know how you feel.

For people who didn't get to say goodbye I quite often suggest that you sit with a writing pad and tell them all the things your are feeling, and things you didn't get to say and they can read these things from the after Life.

The thing is whether we know it or not the Spirit world knows everything we do good or bad in our everyday lives and hopefully my telling people this could help them to remember the things that pleased and displeased our relatives and try not to make them unhappy in the after Life by doing things that made them unhappy.

I have learned all these things through communicating with my Relatives in the After Life.

I would also like to add that in my communication with the After Life I have learned there is a place called the Soul Records High in the Spirit World somewhere and believe me I have tried to find out just where its located but anyway every deed good and bad we do in our everyday life from birth to death is recorded there.

I know this is strange but when I first began doing this this source went back in time all the way back to my childhood and showed me these different segments of my life just like a Hollywood Movie in Technicolor.

And I mean everything, and some of the pictures I saw in Technicolor were very personal things like scenes taking place in Bedrooms and even the ones I was with were easily identifiable and it was much like watching a film on Television or in the Movies.

Its very difficult to get people to believe some of the things I am writing about here but they are all true and maybe other Psychis can see the things I have and maybe they can't because I haven't compared notes with anyone.

But its these clear Pictures stored somewhere in the Universe that enables Psychic Detectives to tap in to this source and travel back in time to see just what a Killer looked like and actually go through the Murder that has already happened.

I may have gotten a little off the original subject here but I just want you to see what the Spirit World I see is like.

Its through this Book of life and its ability to record events in everyones life in Technicolor like Movies that lets God keep a running Record on all of us here on Earth from Birth to death.

I have also learned that no matter what any of us believe even Athiests when they die those people live on in the After Life.

Its knowing what I do which has caused me to take another look at the Word Athiest and I believe an Athiest is just someone who doesn't believe in the Existance of God having no Proof but it doesn't necessarily mean someone using the word Athiest is a bad person it just means they have no proof of what is beyond Earth and as long as they are kind to their fellow man and do good in their everyday life one day they will pass over into the Afer life and realize that even Athiests go to the Spirit World like everyone else.
