Get deceived rather than deceive, get harmed rather than harm

You have to live in this world according to the instructions of the Lord. Regarding your life in this world, the essence of His instruction is that, you should be ‘deceived’ by others and not deceive others, you should be ‘harmed by others but not harm anyone, you should not insult others, but you can be insulted by others, and you should be abused by others but not abuse others. One cannot attain God by doing penance even for centuries. But there is one easiest way to attain God. When you are deceived by others or when you are harmed by others or when you are insulted by others or when you are abused by others, the Lord comes to your side. It means you have attained God. Therefore, you should thank the people who have deceived, or harmed or insulted or abused you. They have helped you in attaining God by the easiest way. Therefore you should not deceive or harm or insult or scold even such people in return. They might have passed on the punishment to you, for your sins on the will of God. In that case also, they have cleared your sins at an early stage without further interest on the punishment. Even in that way you should thank them.

You tell people to let themselves be decieved and they'll attain God? I DON'T THINK SO! For someone who advocates truth you have a bad way of trying to spread it. (then again if you knew the truth I guess you wouldn't be speaking the way you do). If you knew anything about God and the truth you would know very well that God wants you to spread the truth, so that people will know God and they will know his will.

If you are decieved by someone and sin, it is YOUR fault, your sins don't pass to the deciever. The deviever will be punished for decieving, but the decieved will also be punished. Ever heard of the mark of the beast chico? Decieved people, taking a mark, never to be forgiven of their sin. You need to back away from your false gods and return to the one and only God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, THE God of Israel.

I guess accroding to your own statements, anyone who you've decieved with your lies won't get punished only you will........well then you'd better brace yourself buddy.

You mean learn from your mistakes, don't ask for people to force you to make mistakes you don't want to make- just to learn your going to be 'scarred for life' over it.

What about you saying BE decieved or BE harmed? Dattaswami, ever hear of 'Remember Be Here Now'? Yeah, pick that one up. It teaches you that it isn't about getting there. But, being there.

You don't get there, you either are or your not.
You don't get decieved, you either are or your not.
You don't get harmed, you either are or your not.
You don't get high, you either are or your not.

It's about being, not getting, getting is about as close to attatchment - desire as one is going to be.

You should understand that if you are decieved by others- you know to do the same thing to learn not to do it on your own. That doesn't mean 'go do it to others'. That means learn not to do it, because you are decieved by others in means to understand to prevent deciet of others, before you are harmed.

Before you are harmed by deciet. Decieve no one, harm no one but oneself enough that one does not decieve nor harm another in the process. That is what life is about.

I won't say that is what life should be about, but that is essentially a healthier way to understand that you have preventative measures to keep others from harming you. In no matter what fashion it is. One of them happens to be deciet. Yeah, and that means that is just one of the ways.

Dattaswami, I think your forgetting about all the OTHER ways you can BE harmed. BESIDES deciet.

Me, I have my own principles- do on to others as they do on to you. If someone harms me then I'll harm them right back in the exact same way, I call it Get even-karma or as the religious folk define it, "Wrath".

hmmm. Well it's his/her choice to live that way, kind of a sad view of Life. I personally don't see it like that, sure there are abusers and offensive people, but I always try to keep my self-respect and not let them affect me. That being said, if someone insults or hurts me, I will try not to retalliate, not because it's out of respect for them, but for myself and that would mean lowering myself to their level. Now, if someone hurts my child or a loved, that is another story........ I just may go ballistic....
