Okay,

I have atwo family home, with stairs on the back porch that lead up to the second floor, which is where I sleep. Well, at night or in the day, I feel as though I am being watched from the top of the stairs. Sometimes the feeling gets so strong that I go running down the stairs. I always see wierd things out of the corner of my eye, you know, like fast moving shadows, etc. One time I was in my room sleeping, I woke up to what sounded like crying, then someone, or something kicked my door, pretty hard. I opened it to see if anyone was there, but there was no one.

What is going on?

Next door to me is a Mcdonalds where my mother works. It was the former site of Margolis Furniture, which is where the owner died. One of my mother's coworkers has had paranormal experiances in the restaurant too. Plus, the doors are always unlocked, even when the night shift locks them the night before.

It's just getting wierd here.

From what you have written it suggests that maybe there is something paranormal is happening. Perhaps you could try to get some EVPs or other evidence before deciding whether it is paranormal or not.

Sounds intresting. Try getting something on video/pictures. I worked in a haunted flower shop once. Things would move on the shelves and a couple vases fell and broke.

speaking of cat, when my cat goes up the stairs, she gets kinda freaked out and now she won't goe upstairs without one of us going with her.

I'm gonna set out a tape recorder and take some pictures at night and day. I really want to know what's going on.

Well you have a really great clue to get started with.
Find a property deed dating back to the time when your property and the property next to you were both one property on the same registered deed.
Call the courthouse and ask for directions to find it.

Animals can see spirits, especially cats so that is what has freaked your cat out.
Do some research on your house and the property, then you might have an idea who the spirit is

This is a very interesting post! It's hard to say wheather you're house is haunted, since I gather that your primary evidence is "The Feeling" that something is watching you. But it seems as if perhaps you are hearing some pretty extraordinary things too. The sound of weeping and the bump on your door are interesting notes, but if you were asleep, it could have all just been the result of a dream or of a sleep associated anomally. As for what you see out of the corner of your eyes; it's often been said that what you see straight-on is of this world. But what you see out of the corners of your eyes is from the spiritual world.

I do want to encourage you to continue to go with your feelings and develope this to it's strongest degree possible, because your intuition will be very useful to you throughout your life.

As for The Restaurant, I want to say that just because a human died on that piece of property once doesn't mean that it's THAT PARTICULAR Man who is haunting the restaurant today. It could be any number of entities that are present in the McDonald's store. On the other hand. these occurances, such as unlocked doors, etc. could be humans who THINK they've locked the doors, but in truth, haven't! It's also possible that the clean-up crew people DON'T lock them and lie about doing so.

Keep your mind open to all possibilities!

It is very possible. I never thought there was anything in my apartment until I dowloaded Goldwave, (a music recording software) for recording my group's music, and I had gotten several EVPs. I had sent them to TAPS for analysis a while ago, but I still haven't gotten any response. I'd love to have someone look at them that could actually get back to me on them.... (Several were recorded when no one was home here...)
