sad.gif that looks quite real to me! unsure.gif

The clip (one of many out there, actually) is from a movie called "Incident at Loch Ness." I almost typed "documentary" and realized that would be awfully misleading. The filmmaker's name is Werner Herzog. Do a google search for him and you'll find that the guy is about as credible with his claims and presentations as P.T. Barnum.

Here's a good place to start:

total crap, it is real yes...but something is being towed on a very long line as it goes past the boat's bow...it looks like a lorry tyre inner tube... grin2.gif

the film crew just happen to be there as something comes into view on the left hand side ha ha......how the hell can you lot believe that! grin2.gif
science101
Judging from the waves, ripples in the water, I would have to say it is something quite large. Whether it is the Loch Ness Monster? I dunno! I am convinced it is something!

Looks like a possible whale to me... but what do i know ! lol blink.gif
RaginCajun
intresting...but i wonder why they haven't made this a public announcement....unless:

it was proved to be a hoaxed

or it was proved to be a known animal

i think would be an overwhelming amount on the news if this were something special. yes.gif
Mysterious Molecules
It's pretty obvious to me, with the calm waterline infront of the "monster" that something up ahead, out of view from the camera is pulling this object with a line.

Murderman187
what i find intresting is ( asuming it IS a hoax) the whale-like motion that inner tube is able to make. U know..the part when the hump surfaces, and disapears again

Loch Ness has seals....excuse me for being ignorant of the Lake...Never looked into it...why do seals live there?
Mal X
it's a very large diameter inner tube being towed along..you can see disturbed water in front of it...it's been carefully weighted down so it's submeged; but only just, this means that when it's being towed it occassionally breaks the surface...like the hump of an animal's back yes.gif

Ok , I was getting into this until I did google search. ( that is where I found pic of seal , some " lochness site " , seals are known to travel over 30 miles up rivers ) .... Anyway , this is false.Just check the site for the movie. The clip there even shows a guy fall in the water and they start shooting at it....Here is some of text , and heck..here is link...But , yes , there are seals that occasionally go up the loch original.gif..but probly inner tube here.

The really important thing to remember is that Incident at Loch Ness is a faux documentary, a hilarious account of the making of a movie entitled Enigma at Loch Ness. Actually, it's a fake documentary of Werner Herzog by John Bailey

If you click on picture top left , you will got to site to view the " trailer " .....Pickeloaf's reply was correct and I just noticed it....sry sad.gif
Murderman187
i think i speak for the majority when i say : to bad it is a hoax AGAIN!!!. it was just to good to be true
Agent. Mulder
Damn it!
stupid hoax's. but i guess it did look sorta like a whale, or something getting dragged through the water.
KatLover
the fantastic special fx work of KNB EFX group actually. (the one guy from that team recently won an academy award for make up on that Narnia movie) original.gif Has anyone seen this Incident at Loch Ness movie? pretty damn funny, and ya, its a film by Bailey about Werner Herzog going to loch ness to make a film about it. Its just a spoof really.

The link was removed it led to a site that must update their short clips on a regular basis and the first 2 clips contained adult content clips which were unsuitable.
