I believe children are very sensitive and could very well see other worldly beings. Some people believe that as long as you have a child in the room, or with you all times evil will not manifest itself in anyway, or at least you won't feel their presence as strongly as before. Because babies or small children have stronger spiritual protection ,if you believe in the whole guardian angel thing. That's one way of explaining why small children seem to always play and talk with someone that's not there, in other words and imaginary friend.

Maybe, maybe not. They are more open to their surroundings since their brain at that point is like a sponge. It isnt far fetched to say that this could help them sense ghosts. At the same time their imagination is wild and they may take everything unexplainable to be a ghost.

Do you think children and infants babies and such are more likely to see ghosts angels and stuff. why would that be?
Yes, I certainly do!
I recall things from my own childhood that I don't believe were imaginary.
However, my youngest daughter was remarkable when she was little.
I recently wrote of this in another thread, so I won't go into it in full detail,,,but when my daughter was a preschooler, she very accurately predicted the death of my father.
My Dad had not been sick, he'd never had a heart attack or any other illnesses, in fact it was my Mother who suffered from Cancer at the time.
Nevertheless, on the Sunday evening before my father's death, my daughter told me that my He was going to die in three days. I was taken aback by this and scolded her for saying such a thing, but she was incredibly insistent.
Long-story short, on the following Wednesday night, precisely three days later, my Father died of a sudden heart attack.
How could a four year old little girl have possibly known that this was going to happen? She still has amazing abilities, but that was beyond any explanation!
I knew another little girl, who is now grown, (but younger than my own youngest daughter,) who accurately predicted a loved one's death when she was about eight, she also accurately predicted The Northridge earthquake in Los Angeles County the night before it happened and she foretold of 9-11 several years before that actually happened. (It so happens that this girl was a child actress. I can't say who she is, but I have known her' family almost all of her life.) She had very remarkable abilities as a little one, and she has retained many of her's too, just like my daughter has done...
My oldest daughter believed that she saw the ghost of my grandmother when she was young. It was odd,,,we were looking at old family pictures and we came across one of my grandmother, who died a year before that my daughter was born. I told her that the woman in her picture was her Great-Grandmother and she said, "oh okay, I see her in my room all of the time..."
My youngest son swore that he saw an angel in his' bedroom almost nightly in the months before he was killed by a drunk driver, along with his' brother and my wife...
I also wrote in another thread that I believe that when we are born and when we are young that we use areas of our brains that most of us "forget" how to use as we get older.
From my personal experiences, I have concluded that it happens more often with girls than boys, but it happens in both genders. I have formulated my own hypothesis for why that I think that this occurs more often in female children than in males. Females are more intuitive throughout life, i.e., "women's intuition," etc. For one thing, I know that women use the right-half of their brains far more than men. The right side of the brain is the creative side of, and it's likely to be where this intuitive area of the brain lies. Women are more likely to go with their "feelings" or their intuition more often than men, who are left-brain, logical thinkers. I believe that this whole thing is connected with the fact that women are mothers and it's their destiny to protect and care for their children. Perhaps in days long gone, primordial women used this to sense when danger was near their off-spring. If this is the case, then it's only logical that little girls would be developing this ability.
I think that these abilities lie in the areas of the brain that humans are said not to use,,,in other words, we are believed to only use about 10% of our brains, and I think that in babies and children, this certain area of the brain is very active, but as we age, society sort of "teaches us" NOT to use this portion of our brains because it's spooky, evil, crazy, etc.

I think as kids have a more open mind that's why they see them. As they get older they get more and more sceptical, often due to other people's view and as they cease to believe, they cease to see.

I believe in ghosts and angels...
i dunno why but i just believe in those stuff...
probably because i can feel their presence...
and i got friends who also believe/see them
I may say that children often see things that is/are not totally there for they are like innocent and dont know what they are doin yet...

Can children be so imaginative, that they just run around and talk to apparently no one in the room. I mean yeah they are children but you can't just pretend or imagine someone else in such a complex way like that, there has to be something else there. For example, when my sister was 2 or 3 she would always run around and play on her own alot, she would offer her bottle to something and then she would say "you want some, no" then get back to drinking milk. She would fall alot for no apparent reason and come back saying "he pushed me" and we were all inside. So I do believe that children have the ability of seeing what most of us can't or used to.

I don't think it is their imaginations. Sometimes it might be. My son was one and a half and would not go in our hallway because of the "night man". Though he said he would see him in the day as well. He said he couldn't see his face, it was black (it think he meant dark and shadowed out). He also told us of a young boy that would always check on him and our newborn daughter.

Because children are easy victims of anyone. Evil ghosts knows that the children are sensitive as well as being innocent and weak. Sometimes they don't have to harm children but they convince the children to harm themselves unintentionally. For example: making illusion image of a path way for the children but the path is not really there so the child may fall from the building or the stair case, etc..... It is very understandable.

There are cases reported of this,,,including in Churches and Synagogues. I believe that the Catholic Church has several cases of this sort of thing recorded in their archieves!
In my faith, The Jewish faith, I remember reading of one or two such cases within our records.

I don't know why that it doesn't happen more commonly in children, Dark..Thats just a mystery of life. Thank G-d that it doesn't happen more routinely! Perhaps G-d and Angels are more vigilant over young children and protect them.
If you watch television and movies, you could easily be convinced that Demons tend to harm children more than they do adults. But in reality, I think that adults and adolescents fall victim to demons far more often.
If I had to guess, I'd say that the innocense of children protects them, but as the innocense is lost as we grow older, we are better targets for evil attacks.
This is just a good guess,,,take it for what you will...

I believe that childern are more sensitive to the spirit woulr because they have not become so egotistical and don't worry about paying bills or what to make for dinner. Childern have recently come into this world from a "spirit realm", so that is what is normal. Just a thought.

That was a very elementary question and I think that you had missed some bizzare, strangest worst paranormal cases that i heard when i was back in Thailand. They can also kill people and eat their entire organs. Believe it or not?
At first, it sounded stupid because how can ghost consume or eat something and go to the bathroom like the livings do? But let me tell you that there are people who died with no internal organs and the Thai government took it seriously. The authorities assumed it to be the infamouse "Porp Ghost" that "eats" human organs and also human waste. According to Thai legend, this ghost looks much like a living person but it is very dangerous and can kill a person. These bizzare rare ghosts are from Thailand and they are very rare in the Western societies which made most westerners unaware of its existence. Today, they are also very rare within Thailand.
I recommend many westerners and skepticists to observe some of the world's most bizarre paranormal cases which could be easily found in Southeast Asia. Maybe it is because that many ghosts from that region of the globe were more emotionally aggressive than western ghosts.

Can ghost really interact with us physically, like pick up a chair or throw a cup, isn't that more of a demon thing?
In Asia, a demon is just an evil spirit of somebody. Some spirits have more energy than others. To have more energy is to be more emotionally aggressive. In the West, westerners see demons as being something different and more powerful. Anyway, evil spirits or poltergeists are as dangerous as demons and please stay far away from them.
Why do some ghosts are more aggressive and have more energy?
Because some people died violently or had an angry, sad life in the past so it would be easy for these individuals to be evil and emotionally aggressive once they die or once they become a ghost.
Some scientists also defined spirit as being emotional energy of a person. The energy could also be used to harm the livings or moving objects. This is why we have paranormal activities like objects falling down from the table by itself or floating in mid-air!
I believe that Southeast Asian region is one of the world's most haunted region on the globe because that is where many people are emotionally aggressive and died violently. This may also explains the culture and the people's emotion based on the events that happened in their life include their lifestyle. Great Britain is the most haunted region of Europe. Japan is also very haunted because many Japanese are stress with their life and many committed suicide. My assumption is not 100% accurate but it is true that in these regions and in these countries, you are more likely to encounter ghosts or experience paranormal activities. However, I did not say that i guarantee you but the possibility is much higher.
Anyway, keep in mind that where there are livings, there are ghosts because when people die, they would eventually become one.

I have 4 children. 2 can hear and see things the other 2 cannot. I also can hear and see things. My 4 year old has been telling me that he hears a woman talking under my bed. I have heard the same so i know he is hearing this. I believe the woman who is speaking used to be a neighbor of ours. She lived in the house across the road from us. She hung herself in her garage about 6 months ago. we also hear a woman laughing in front of our own garage wich makes it difficult to get the kids in and out of the cars at night.

when i was about 14 i used to hang out at my best friends house all the time and she had little sisters. One of them was about 1 or 1 and a half at the time and would walk around in one of those walker things. She would always walk over to the front door of the house and look up toward the cieling, reach up as if she were reaching for a treat or something and giggle and talk to whatever it was she was seeing. Then she would follow it down the hall. My friends mum says that a lot of the girls used to do the same thing when they were that age. (There were 7 siblings in the family) It kind of freaked us out because we couldnt see what she was looking at. I think kids can see them.
