is it weird to name the ghosts that are in your home? because I have a little girl ghost in my house and i named he.Her name is trisha. The reason is because it took many years before i ever seen the ghost well the night i seen her i was just comming back from a trisha yearwood concert.I walked in the door and look in my hallway and it was just a shadow of a little girl. One thing thats really weird is because trisha has talked to me and told me she isnt going to harm me this was 2 years ago and she hasnt harmed me yet actually this might be stupid but ive found my self having full conversations with trisha any thoughts about this??

I think that it's actually pretty common for people to give their ghosts names, if they don't know what the ghost's real name was of course. I think that it's kind of nice really! original.gif

Of course, children name their Imaginary Friends too... wink2.gif

Nevertheless, I'm sure that any little girl, living, dead or otherwise, would like to be called Trisha. It's a cute name. grin2.gif

just basically anything we've talked about her rough past in this house and weve just talked about the great things in life and how she feels like this is still her home

I guess there are nice ghost that don't want to posses you or scare you, but what would trisha be doing there, I mean why would a little girl be hanging around. Did she do something wrong and can't move on, maybe she has some unfinished business.
Purplos
If she talks to you so much, perhaps you can ask what her real name is. Maybe she'd like to be called by her actual name rather than one you made up for her.

We call the spirit in my parents house "Ottar", because that's what the first owner was called. original.gif
Tho it's probably not his spirit, since he was a short chubby man, while the spirit is tall.

You should ask her things like, what's the meaning of life and what is being dead feel like, you know stuff like that.

Well, IF there ARE ghost children, then I would say that they definately have unfinished business,,,THEIR LIVES!

This little girl may be hanging around there just because she likes the name Trisha. laugh.gif

Wouldn't you think that it's possible that a little child who dies at a very young age, might not have any concept of what death is, therefore he/she would not know to move on into the light?

If this child is hanging around "a**A_9's" residence, she might not even realize that she's dead...

There are gadzillions of cases reported of "good ghosts," or as I like to call them, benevolent spirits. I am positive that most don't want to scare you, and it's rare for a dead human's spirit to try to possess a living person. (That's demon territory!) I think that there are a number of reasons why the ghosts of "the once-liviing" would stick around on earth for a while.

<For example, some people are held in limbo by someone's grief, (someone who just can't let them go, making it impossible for them to cross-over...)
<They may remain here because they are afraid of what might happen to them once they get to the other side, i.e., they fear that they might go to Hell...
<It's thought that many ghosts stay around 'cause they have no clue that they have died...
<Sometimes they stay because they're worried about their survivors...

I'm sure that there would be many reasons that a person might stay on earth, rather than move into the light. Personally I think that I'll hang around just so that I can see the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition every year. laugh.gif w00t.gif

Just a few thoughts... original.gif
