I have a new program and was just messin around and made some cool designs... Some of you may recall the geometry I drem manually on a cad program before... Another Fractal








I didn't make this next one... but it is the most famous fractal... the "breakthrough" you could say.

What program did you use for those? Very nice.

Ah, thought it looked like UltraFractal. I'll have to try it out. Apophysis is a good program to check out too, it generates fractal flames, which are a bit different from the UltraFractal type. It's good for wallpapers and etc.

For that second one if you scroll up while looking at it it almost looks like its jumping out of the screen!

devianart has some wicked Fractal artists... Im mesmorized by them

I am. I started learning about fractals back when it took the computer hours to render them! Boy, was that frustrating.

I'd like to know how to make those weird 3d images... the kind that they used to put on cereal boxes where you stare at them really hard while you go crosseyed, and then you'll see a picture!

Very textured steps, and they look like they're the really cool kind of steps too (with multiple platforms per step... kinda)

EDIT: Don't worry.... they're one of my most hated things i nthe world anyway. I'm kinda glad they're not on our boxes.

I'm glad computers have came so far... I can't wait until quantum computers are on the market... wow... imagine the renderings we could produce in 20 or 50 years... its just mind boggling since math is progressing so fast... the public of today really have no concept of what will be possible in the future.
