ok my auntz house is haunted they(paranormal investigators,and priests)have told her there is nothing that can be done for her that to many 'evil spirits' surround her house so they pretty much told her that the house will be haunted for ever and the only way that she can get away from it is to move.but i dont believe that it is tru that her house is haunted for ever there has got to be somethng that can be done but every where my aunt turns eveyone just tells her that the house is to haunted i mean nothing major has happened at her house ...some people have been physically attacked and weve heard voices before but nothing major we are looking for help thanx

I believe you about the haunted House, and moving will not help any because they will just follow you from one house to the other.

I moved from a house through two apartments over the past 20 years and I bought and have lived in this house for 11 years and at this time I am just living with the situation because they won't leave and no one else much believes this is happening to me.

If they are only speaking and being mean but not possessing someones body by entering it you are lucky because three of my Relatives and a man I knew when he walked the Earth before dieing of a sudden heart attack in l985 have been sitting inside my body trying to kill me since l986 the First Anniversary of his Death and so far no one will believe and if they do believe they just say there is nothing I can do about it and so just tell them to go away.

so I have learned to not tell many of my relatives anymore because of their attitude and instead I am just writing to educate others about my Experiences.

The thing that keeps me strong is I have some good spirit Guides who while they don't seem to know how to force the four out of my body they do give me moral support and have taught me that these Spirits can't kill me as they once told me and they can't force me to do anything I don't want to do.

So I just write to tell others this can happen and when it does few people believe it.

I continue to pray and be as happy as I can in the situation and hopefully in the future at some point in time I will find a way to talk them out of my body or force them out?

In the meantime I am writing on Forums and in a Journal and exposing them name and all and hopefully one day their Relatives will read about them in my writings and know how they are behaving in the Spirit World beyond the Veil of Death.

The most disgusting thing in my situation is three of my Realtives would help a man hang on to me from beyond the Veil of Death and says he will remain there until the day I die so I can't go on with my life without him.

The saddest part is over the past few years one of his sons and his wife have died and passed over and he still refuses to leave my body and go join them in the After Life.

He has turned this into one of those B Movies.

He is from Toledo, Ohio and when he walked the Earth he was one of our Towns most Prestigious Psychiatrists and when he began doing this he said tell everyone what I am doing and when you tell them I was a Psychiatrist how many people do you think will believe you.

Well I know his wife and son watching from a Higher Realm believe what he is doing so that's important and I am hopeful soon he will leave my body and join them in other parts of the Spirit World.

I'm guessing that priests blessed the house several times with no luck, you may have more than just ghosts there, but I agree with you it can't be forever. But if people are getting hurt, she might have to move, it could only get worst with time.

If you can try to make contact with the spirits that may help and when I mean you I mean just you alone in a room and no paranormal investigators,and priests.

Have any of the paranormal investigators informed any of you what kind of spirits they are? Are they human spirits, or something else, or a mix? There are usually different methods in cleansing houses, depending on the type of spirit it is that inhabits it. Some human spirits become aggressive, but it's sometimes out of frustration rather than evilness. . . so it's sometimes hard to tell what is an evil entity and what is a confused and frustrated human entity. I also do not agree that there is nothing she can do about it. . .If blessings and cleansings do not help, then maybe she should move. Spirits usually won't follow people unless they are attached to them in some way.. . Or some spirits may also be attached to certain objects. . .

Paranormal investigators and priests?

Well, where to start…

First, a Priest has to get permission from the church to do any thing that would require removing of spirits. So, they would have to believe that the house was indeed possessed by spirits.

I cannot say I believe that a priest would say they could do nothing …meaning that they believe the ghost or spirits are there, but that they cannot be removed or they cannot remove them.

I have never known a priest, minister or any ordained person that has said it cannot be done….so, either the priest she had in, didn’t believe it or they were of a faith I am not familiar with.

As for Paranormal investigators, that’s what they do…they investigate. They usually do not do any removal of ghost or spirits. They are not equipped to do so.

That is to say they usually do not have the “insight” to be in touch with the spirits without their equipment…well, in most cases anyway.

It sounds like to me that a person that has had experience with getting in touch with spirits or entities is needed.

There are many people that are experienced in asking spirits to leave a home.
And, if you say you are in touch with a child spirit, then it sounds like there are a few there. (Again, as I said I do not believe that a priest would say they couldn’t, so they must not have believed)

A child spirit would be easy to ask to leave and to go to the light…or where ever they are needed.

There are a lot of charlatans out there, so I would advise your aunt look into it with care.

I know a woman that has been doing this for a very long time (removing ghost, etc...). However she is not in the Kentucky area…She may be able to offer some advice and or know someone that could go to your aunts house though. (A lot cheaper than moving I’d say)

If you do not believe in the issue being addressed here, then the best thing to do would to just be direct, not sideways and state your ideas.

You can never lose yourself in being direct and honest.

But, coming up with answers that make you sound like you are 12 years old or younger, you will lose respect, even with things and people you do not belive.

Have you thought of seeking out the local pagan community to try and help you? I know of many pagans/wiccans/self proclaimed witches who deal with instances like this. Actually I did a bit of ghost hunting with some in the local pagan community over the weekend that were having very similar problems. We found the problem to be some very pissed off ghosts of family members who did not like what was going on in their home. I do not know anyone in Kentucky, however doing an msn or yahoo search for pagan groups in Kentucky might help you find someone who could help you. Good luck!

Someone who believes they can expel ghost doesn’t mean they can.
And in fact they could do more harm then good…
Not to mention they might just be casing the house.

Again, I would look for someone that is “reputable” and actually has people they can contact for references.

Sound crazy? No not at all…why shouldn’t someone have references when they are talking about such a sensitive matter?

You better believe I let no one into my house, whether it’s to do carpenter, plumbing work or spiritual work…they better have something to provide me with that I know I am not dealing with a fraud or fake…

Any decent spirtualist worth their time would be willing to meet with you a few times outside your home, to discuss your problems and let you get comfortable with them before going forward with anything. And they should also be willing to provide several personal and spiritual references. If they aren't willing to do this then I would have nothing further to do with them.

You live near the house that was on Haunted in Georgia? Your house is haunted and your aunts house is also haunted? Have you thought that possibly your family has a gift of contacting ghost or spirits and thats why you seem to have so much activity around you? You know kind of like that show Ghost Whisper? Possibly thats why your aunt cant get rid of the ghost they are there for her help- just a thought.
Insted of naming your ghost try to see if you can find out her name by researching the house and its history if you can get the actual name that may open up a lot more information for you.

Maybe she should try having a priest bless the house, or some kind of spiritualist inspect the house to see if there's ghost really there & if there friendly or not and what is it they want...................

I hated to go to the most obvious answer, but moving makes sense.

If I were to live in a home that had serious haunting issues, I would not hesitate to move out of the home into some other place that wasn't haunted. Staying just seems crazy in my opinion.

On another slightly related topic; I wonder why it is that people that do not believe in ghosts can live in a reportedly haunted home and never experience anything paranormal, yet some believers can witness ghosts and paranormal activities in the same home. It is common to read about reportedly haunted homes that people move out of, only to have the non believers that move in to deny any paranormal activity.

Is it that believers look for such things actively, non believers don't pay attention to the signs of a haunting?

Regardless, if several people told me that the house was haunted forever, and I had experienced things that would be troubling to me on a regular basis, it would just not make sense to stay in the home. I've moved just to get away from rowdy noisy neighbors; moving to get away from ghosts in my home would be a no-brainer...

You can't get away from a troublesome Spirit by moving or running away they will only follow you and once they see they have this kind of control over you that will encourage them to continue to see how many times they can cause you to move.

'The Unquiet Dead' By Dr. Edith Fiore
a Psychologist treats Spirit Possession.

In the book she tells us that anyone can bring about a Depossession and she recommends many ways of doing that.

I consider this book a must read for anyone who wants to communicate and or learn all they can about the After Life.

I have found it inspirational and very helpful and I think anyone might be happy to read this book.

I am still working on the suggestions she makes and I might be making some Progress along those lines.

Every circumstance is not like yours Rosemary, I hope you realize that much, anything can happen, and the results will not come out the same, do not underestimate evil spirits, for they have minds of their own like you and I, furthermore this garbage about contacting the dead is a horrible idea Rosemary, why do you think there is death? The common suggestion given around here is that people should in fact play with these materialistic objects, and when such people introduce and advertise it, making the situation worse and attracting more gullible and weak minded folk, then it's not a risk that should be taken, whether it's Rosemary telling the world that a ouija board or whatever is a great source of communication between good and BAD spirits, and even if the chances of getting in touch with devils should become an issue are at a low percentage, is it worth that risk? Anything can happen, and in that knowledge certain risks must be taken, while others have to be avoided at all costs.

The book I recommended would be beneficial for you also because its a psychologist who has worked with these things for years and she knows first hand all the things I know and she says that most of her Patients who hear voices and see things are just experiencing Spirit Activity and once she and they accept this they can accept their Psychic Experience and throw the pills away and look for a better solution.

I would suggest you take up Preaching but if you did you would only keep talking about Devils and Demons and fail to educate yourself better to the truth that most Spirits who appear good or bad are really just the Spirits of our Relatives and others and sometimes they like us and sometimes they don't.

I in fact am surprised with all your posts here that some Spirits haven't appeared to become your Spirit Guides to help to educate you in a better way as to the Truth about the After Life.

Fear and depression intensify hauntings. The victim grows so weak and depleted of energy that he/she becomes wholly convinced that demons are responsible. HI-- I am new to this board-- Have a situation-- can I get advice & opnions--moved into a house now 14 mnths ago-- built 1780-- since then strange, mild things have been happening--dont know if husband notices it but I sure do-- kids do a little too--had a blessed prayed over candle explode into a gazillion little pieces-- there are rooms in this hosue that no one likes to go into--the maids quarters is one--and i constantly get a very uneasy feeling, that comes & goes in my master bedroom--the TV has turned itself on when everyone else is in other end of the house-- Please tell me what u think -- also, I know I got a new cat-- I already had 2-- but its been a little over 1 months -- and still fighting furiously--alot of growling-- sounds nasty--

You know your house is old and from the sounds of it: very big and posh. Any new enviroment creates a feeling of unrest until you are used to it.
Going of cliche, a house like this is common in haunting stories.

TVs turn themselves off after a while and your cat is new living with a new family n 2 new cats.

I'm no sceptic though... and the candle incident does sound bizarre.
