So bad that the premire only is in America... I`m shure it won`t come to Norway on a half year.

I presume you're talking about the new Dr Who series on TV in the USA???

I saw it when it was shown here in the UK and, OH BOY!!!! Are you in for a treat!!!! The fx are good, Chris Eccleston is easily the best ever Dr by far, and as mentioned above, Billy Piper is very nice to look at too yes.gif wink2.gif

I won't say any more about it, other than to highly recommend it to anyone even vaguely curious about it and, if possible, try and get hold of the earlier series too, from the 60's onwards. They're all excellent, allowing for their age and TV techniques etc...

It's funny WereBo, on another message board UK viewers were saying the same thing -- that we have so much genuinely quality entertainment in store! So exciting to hear!!!! It's hard to judge after only two episodes, but I love how "relevant" Eccleston is as Doctor Who. He's young, hip, and modern and brings a certain charisma to the screen.

I guess tomorrow Sci Fi Channel is repeating the End of the World epi and then we see the new episode at 9pm, the Unquiet Dead. Call me ECSTATIC.

S'alright. But his computer looks like crab.

are you guys following these episodes? The Aliens of London epi comes on tomorrow night at 9 (on Sci Fi, not USA), and from what I've read, Rose will be going back to present-day. NIIIICE.

I watched all of season 1 and I loved it.

*spoiler?*

Too bad they changed the doctor's actor at the end of the season. Original is the best.

y measure of the media stratergies, i'd say that the real future is hinted at within the fiction. no, darleks don't exist, not in the 3rd dimension anyway.

I like older Doctor Who episodes more, but yeah, I'm excited (Tom Baker owns) ph34r.gif

Heads up on a spin off *adult series* from Dr Who featuring the exploits and adventures of the Staff at *Torchwood* who are mentioned in the 1st new Dr Who series , and feature quite heavily in the second series... Torchwood is like the X Files, Area 51 and the Skunkworks rolled into one... Believe it airs in Britain sometime later this yr....

Allo!
Ah yes, i got the first two DVDs shipped out and watched them all in a row =P
However, Rose will never cease to annoy me. Russel T Davies does an oKay job at writing it all, but he seems to make her even more annoying and even more obssessed with the Doctor than EVER!

And i just cant STAND the "Romance" thing. The majority of the episodes from Eccleston to Tennant seem to circle around her and not the Doctor...Bah!

I miss Pertwee and Tom =(

Nevertheless, its still awesome and the SFX and Aliens are UBER COOL!

I was also happy to see K-9 make a short reappearance...although apparently he is being redesigned for later episodes... ph34r.gif

Ciao!

classic DR Who fan here... havent seen the new ones... Tom Baker is my favorite!

Ah, Doctor Who. I love it, and I would have called myself The Extermianator if it wasn't so hard to remember.

I just love the monsters. Who cars about the Doctor when you can watch Daleks rampage through the universe? Or Cybermen?
