Hi all,

I've not been on this site for a while so i thought i would just pop in and Look around
& there a lot of good stuff in here again thumbsup.gif

OK if any of the forums members remember me will know i posted a fair bit of photos last year that i had taken on my travels to Haunted Locations, Aston Hall, Moreton Corbet Castle plus many others.

I am a believer as i have seen some very strange & Unexplaniable stuff but also i'm am a bit of a sceptic i like to see if there is a reasonable explanation for any of the weird events that happens to take place at times!!

Well i have a few more pic's that myself, hubby & brother took with our camera phones & we did catch some very strange light Phenomena within the Tunnels of Ashby Castles as we were walking around in them.

I will post them & see what you think?

some may think that it can be camera flare& it could well be just that but all 3 of us caught the lights, & i will add that my brother had a video & camera phone & the video just would not work right only his camera would. i will let you descide for yourself..... disgust.gif

And one more this is me with my daughter standing taking a pic of my hubby who was taking a pic off us at the same time & its from his phone this pic came from and if you see there is a Light shooting across towards a wall where an entrance once was!!

Honestly, it just looks like dust particles to me, or the lights/flash reflection off the wall.

I've often been wrong, however. grin2.gif

Honestly, I don't see any strange lights and I hope that you are not mentioning the bright lights that light up the walkway. geek.gif

I ahve to agree with the replies so far. The lights seem like genuine reflections of the light coming from the camera and the wall mounted lanterns.

No, not that big light they are the lamps within the tunnels w00t.gif , its the strange anomaly shooting across the middle right.

If you look at this photo with my hubby walking towards me i took this with my camera phone at the same time he took the one above with me & my little girl in.

unsure.gif you maybe all right, but how can you explain that in all pictures that were taken with 3 separate mobile phones these lights were caught,

yes.gif i'm a open Believer & Sceptic at the same time & i would be in the same thinking as y'all but the the pic's that r posted are off 3 moblie camera phones.... blink.gif

I'm the same as you Blonde. I doubt everything like crazy first : "No! Of course not! It cannot be! It must be this or that" and so on, etc. ad.inf. But the dust particle idea should have long bitten itself. If you had posted only one picture then the "Could be anything" nonsense might even apply. But examining the pictures in sequence I'd say that there is something there...apart from the people present. What that something might be I'd hesitate to say but after all the pictures and videos I've seen, the first thing that springs to my mind is: unexplained energy activity. Is this an underground tunnel by the way? Any chance of methane in the air, and stuff like that? LONECAT geek.gif

i don't want to be critical here but don't you need a flash on the camera or a very bright light to illuminate a dust particle disgust.gif ???
Shadow_Wolf
Sorry, all I see are lens flares and reflections from bulkhead lights and torches. Camera phones are very poor quality with rubbish lenses; they are not suited to this type of photography.

yes.gif i have to agree with you, activity was ripe within the Castle's tunnels lots of light anomalies were caught, thumbsup.gif

and the tunnels that we were told were easy access from the castle's kitchens to the banqueting hall... original.gif

rolleyes.gif Some camera phones are very poor Quality, beings that the tunnels were not very bright, i'd say that our 3 phones did very well & are not cheap ones either wink2.gif

grin2.gif The only methane that was in the air was probly from my brother i guess the anomalies had put the wind up him grin2.gif

Then what is the difference between your light anomalies and my pictures of dust orbs? huh.gif

(for some reason my pic didn't post, will try again)
remy_gurl
im not seeing anything unusual either. Were the tunnels a bit damp? It looks a bit like reflected light from the lanterns off of moisture in the tunnel.

The place you took the picture- It is lit decently, the lanterns are fairly bright, the walls are brick, and it looks a bit moist. I would imagine the narrow spaces and reflection could easily pic up dust particles or gleam, as seen in your pictures.

I'd rather them be ghosts, or orbs- make no mistake. But it just doesn't seem to be. I know, I know-- Thinking logically is no fun for anybody crying.gif

The cost of the phone is not the issue, nor the megapixel rating of the sensor; all camera phones have small/poor lenses (the vast majority exposed to all manner of muck, dust and scratches), a small actual CCD size, and a limited shutter system - together these produce low quality images when compared to a 'proper' camera.

yes.gif I see what your saying, i suppose that no one will ever know for sure what these lights are, we can only speculate unsure.gif
its strange that the 3 of us caught them on our camera's around the same time as each other but at different angle's hmm.gif

we will have to arange another vist & see what we get thumbsup.gif
jonb
well i dunno about you but i can say without any doubt atall that it is lens flare.

some of the bright light in the tunnel is going into the lens of your camera at a weird angle, which makes it bounce around the inside of the lens and appear as it does in the photo, take a look at this page for a much better explanation:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lens_flare

also see some other photos with similar lens flare as your photos have:

if there is a very bright light in the scene, or a string of white blobs or a straight line coming from the light then its this effect
