FLY SPITTA
Just curious I am very interested in Cryptozoology, but it seems all the Crypto creatures have been covered already. In other words we ran out of topics.... user posted image And in some threads it seems as if people are now making creatures up. wink2.gif Anyone know anything NEW? grin2.gif I mean this is the year 2006 we have to have found out more things about crypto creatures....or maybe we are just forgetting about them..... no.gif But anyways anyone know any site or anything that has NEW crypto information? Also what ever happened to that show Animal X? It had good Cryptozoology stuff on there.

Thanks

Recently most the new creatures found have been rat size and smaller, there's still a massive amount of untouched land and water to be explored though.

Well, some people around here do make up things........... ohmy.gif
Do you mean sightings of new cryptids? There's already a ton of cryptids, and I doubt that there are a whole lot more out there. There may be new creatures that we haven't heard of, but part of being a cryptid is sightings and reports of a new, different animal.
This is why the Megamouth shark isn't a cryptid (nobody had seen it before) and the Megalodon is a cryptid (numerous stories of giant white sharks).

I heard passing conversations about the furry lobster, but I thought it was a joke! I never saw a picture or read a news article about it, until now! That's awesome! I want one! It's white, so it'd match perfectly with my white cat and ferret!

I'm sick of talking about bigfoot and lake monsters too. . .no offense to bigfoot or anything, cause I still want to catch one, but I've never been really interested in them. I like the Mokele Mbembe and the kongamato. I think bunyips are cool too. ..they sound alot like the Dobhar-chu of Celtic mythology.. . . But as for "new" cryptids. . .who knows. I'm sure there are some aboriginal tribes out there that live around animals that haven't even made it to the realms of cryptozoology yet.

Me too w00t.gif I have been following stories of the Mokele and Kongamato for some time. Searching 'ropen' will give you some cool sites to read as well, notably, Jonathan Whitcomb's research.

Sadly, I hold very little hope. The blonde lobster was found in waters 2,300m (7,540ft) deep at a site 1,500km (900 miles) south of Easter Island. It is less than 15 cm (6 inches) long, but we found it original.gif A tiny little fella like this all the way down there, and we were not even out there looking for it, unlike our popular yet elusive cryptids. I believe that this makes it quite unlikely that anything of substantial size will be uncovered.
Nice to hope I guess, wont be holding my breath though.

the only difference is there are probablly a good number of thos lobsters, and most large cryptids are going to be in very small numbers.
