1. the VA-No other president has started a war and then refused to give money to fund the organization that aids the soldiers that got injured fighting in it.
2. The raises- You don't take the money from the military housing. You find it somewhere else. It's not a raise if you have to find somewhere else to live that is more expensive now is it.
3. Don't ever assume you know anything about what we have been through or what I need to do. I have improved my situation! We did fight through it, we also lost everything. When you walk a mile in my shoes you can comment on my unlucky break (which is a stupid comment). I can place blame where it should be, that blame belongs on the shrublet. Answer this: Your significant other needs 24 hour care and there is no resources available to you, the responsible party refuses to help you afte they created the problem in the first place. Here are the rules, you can't mention in home care from outside (no help there), can't mention family to help, can't cut down on bills (already at the bare minimum to survive), can't mention state aid (no help there) can't mention VA (no help there) Now tell me how do YOU improve your situation, Be real?
to your off topic question Katrina: Here is an idea, appoint a director that has the qualifications, not one of your cronies.
It's like you're teaching a history lesson. This happens in every war, the government NEVER wants to take care of the wounded. Happened in Vietnam, Korean, WW2, WW1, Civil War, and everyone in between and before. Does it surprise you that much? If the sun comes up every morning, are you expecting the sun to come up tomorrow? Sure you are. It's a terrible thing, but throughout history it hasn't changed. The brave go to fight for their country, get wounded, then get crapped upon by the government. Something that should be changed, but you nor I have a clue how tough it is to run a country. This blame Bush for everything is getting tiresome. I'm pissed about high gas costs, something Congress really needs to do something about. But I don't go around blaming Bush for it, and making up stories about him. I'm not in your situation, so I have no idea the problems you have to fight through. I could give you ideas on what to do, but I don't know if you have any time to do anything but provide care. I agree, the government needs to help you, but blaming Bush is tiresome and old.
