PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- A drunken man learned a tough lesson Saturday after being bitten by a tiger.

Jason Hardin, 25, is a worker at the Putnam County fair and stuck his hand into a tiger cage, WESH 2 News reported.

Hardin worked in the animal attraction, and officials said he had been drinking and was inside the safety fencing when he stuck his arm in the cage.

"This is an unfortunate incident because the exhibit owners have done everything they can. They have met the state requirements in terms of the safety conditions that we set forth, and this was nothing but human error. This was a poor judgment on the human's part," Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokeswoman Kat Kelley said.

The tiger severed a tendon in Hardin's arm. The fair is still set to open as scheduled.

Some people might push for it, though....saying now that the tiger's gotten a taste of human...he might want more.....(I wouldn't know why though....they're really not that good )
