It looks like the face of a man with a mustache. But looks around the rest of the photo, there are red blobs everywhere. Most of these red blobs don't look like faces, one does by coincidence. If the pciture were clear, it would be grass.

Please, would some moderator have the mercy to shut this abomination of a thread down? Starchy posting (once again) blurry photos of imagined creatures. Hey, Starchy, how can you distinguish between gnomes, fairies, and dragons?
madelinefrances
no.
not a mans face.

a crouching fairy.

IF YOU DONT LIKE THIS THREAD DONT COME TO IT!

SERIOUSLY.
Its for people who do see them.
so go away if you dont like it.
no ones making you read it.

some people can see spirit world, some cant.
its just the way it is.
madelinefrances
anyway.
that was starchy's photo.

from all this discussion i decided to go and take photos in my garden.

this is one photo i got (have others but i'll start with this one).

first image is untouched. second image i have blurred the picture and kept three boxes unblurred.
third image is same as second but i have added black line to make it MORE obvious if u still cant see them.

do you see what i see?

1 x fairy with a crown looking thing...queen??
1 x fairy crouching under a leaf on his / her side
1 x fairy / weird fellow, turn computer around, he's more scary looking with a big hat thing. troll? cheif?

I want to believe in fairies. In fact I have recently purchased a few books on them to see if I may find them myself. This is different. Blurry spots in a blurry upclose picture of a photograph are not fairies, and must be called out. I don't mind if he posts more photos, this entire thread is of blurry photos, he isn't doing anything wrong. Maybe he will prove us wrong with one good one, but he hasn't yet.

Starchy admitted there is nothing in his photos. He said he is just seeing things like people see things when shown a blot of ink on a piece of paper. And your last photo had nothing in it also. You are all playing make believe.

Show us some photos of supposed real faeries or gnomes, wow us with something instead of just drawing shapes on photos and saying oh look that shape looks like a elf Tee hee hee hee giggle giggle.

it gets blurry because zoomed in so far.
look at them in the clear original photo.

fairies arent fully materilised.
they are spirits.
no one is goin to get a perfect photograph of one looking as clear as you an i in photographs.

MadelineFrances, your excuses don't explain the lack of sharp focus within Starchy's photos. Nothing can truly forgive/explain that lack of sharp focus, except an inert desire to deceive, in the first place.

I respect your coming forward to post upon U-M, and welcome you to the forums!

I didn't SAY it was a fairy-- I just see what was pointed out by MadelienFrances (I bet I butchered the spelling of your name). *shrugs* Looks like a silohouette of something..

Even though there is nothing magical in your photos either at least you have the decency to post clear pics. I would rather look at yours and see if I can see anything that is supposed to be a REAL creature, instead of staring at starchy's blobs which he names.

The photos you posted are not partly materialized fairys. They are not translucent. They do not have their own form. They are part of the plant. Every part of what you thought be be faires in your photos can be easily matched to a texture and color of the surrounding environment. They are nothing, just leaves and branches that can be made out into shapes.

Amen, and same goes for every other damned pic of "fairies". Come on people, ten year old years fooled the world for decades with their "fairy" pics. You'd think you'd learn by now - in the sense that you are speaking of, there is no such thing as fairies.
madelinefrances

No one is being rude to you as far as I can tell.

We just cannot see any faeries in your picture. And at least you had the decency to post a clear picture so we could have a good look at it. But if you wish to throw a wobbly because we do not agree with you then maybe it is you who should go have a cry.

I actually prefer looking at your pics than starchys.

But heck if you wish to have tantrum be my guest I am sure I will not lose any sleep over it.
DieChecker
This thread reminds me of the Bigfoot thread where people posted pics of forests with brown splotches that could have been tree trunks, stumps, bushes, bear or hunters, but they were sure that they showed Bigfoot. Never a second or third pic to show that the thing moved, just one pic with lines drawn to show everyone where he was.
GypsyWolf
Wow, well that was short and no sweet. I hate to see someone give up so easily, if you want to PROVE something ya can't be discouraged by critics. If you TRULY believe you hang in till the very end.

But there was no fairies in her photo also. And I do not understand the little rant about taking a walk in the forest last night with a friend. Was it a fairy a gnome or just another kid.
SteveLove
lol who knows
madelinefrances
sorry.
lol..

im actually not a angry loser head.
just very into fairies the last few days.

my walk in the woods last night was with my friend.
im 20, he's 19.
we just wanted to see if we could see anything.

not much but.

1 x blue orb in a picture
1 x stick that looked like an elf in a picture

and i swear i saw something fly over his head.

anyways.
i had fun.

sorry for being a silly childish brat

I posted at the end of the Fairy Pictures thread, but thought I'd start a new topic for any comments on my photos.

I have become an avid spirit photographer, and while poring over some photos I took of trees at night, I found what I realized are fairies. I had no intention of photographing fairies, nor had I considered their existence as real before they showed up in my photos, then I decided, why not? Everything else strange under the sun (well, moon) is showing up in my photos. There are more of my photos here.

Some people that have seen these photos have had a hard time "seeing" the fairies or found them too blury. However, the fairies seem to only turn out in my photos when I am a certain distance away from them, which makes them blurry when I enlarge the photo. Also, I did not see them with my eyes so they are obviously not 100% physical.

I was in complete amazement for days after finding the first fairy images. That first night as I fell asleep, I felt as if the fairies were explaining to me about their culture though I cannot consciously recall any of it, but it happened over several nights. It felt as if I were going through huge volumes of books. One thing that I can remember moments before my alarm clock went off in the morning, was hearing this tiny voice that sounded like the Chipmunks (Alvin, etc.) saying, "Aww nuts, you're running away..."

I remembered the Cottingley fairies and decided to do a thorough internet search on them. When I saw their photos again I was disappointed as the fairies looked like cutouts. However, after reading many versions of the story, I found that some versions say that the girls held out for a long time that the fairies were real, and only one in the end finally agreed that 4 of the 5 photos were not real. However, this is contradicted all over the place, too. What interested me the most was reading that the man who first got his hands on the photos and negatives had them "cleaned up" as thoroughly as possible so the images would be crisp. In doing so, he had made them look fake. The fifth photo was not cleaned up and it is amazing to me because the fairies look transparent (and interdimensional) as are my fairies. Here is a copy of the fifth photo that I clarified by tinting the flesh.

I personally, think they are fake. I belive in faries, and I am a Gnome enthusiast (Gnomeologist, if you will, I run my own site on gnomes, www.freewebs.com/devinrutherford) I saw the faries, but they all look fake. The first one the fairy looks like a drawing. The second ones look like christmas ornaments...
Just my opinion...

I didn't take these photos, but they were taken in Caithness, Scotland, where i live.

Ive outlined the area, and ive created a zoomed in and slightly sharpened version.

In the first image, it looks like a dot. But on closer look, it has some shape.

So what do you think it is? Im thinking its a piece of sheeps wool or something. Not entirely sure.

This is a VERY long thread, and I've not read it all... But...

I've just been looking at the site you linked to with all your pictures on and I really enjoyed looking through them... But the majority of your photos seem to just be simulacras. Litereally images made from shadows or leaves or clouds or anything really. The human mind is so that given an abstract image (such as a close up of a pile of leaves) it tries to make sense of it, by finding faces first of all. Out of any abstract image, everyones brain automatically searches out for a face. I have to say I don't think the majority of your photos are anything more than searching too hard and seeing things that aren't really there. When ever I'm bored (on a bus or train or even on the toilet) I look at the carpet, or wall or door and look for faces in them. I don't believe that this means they are spirits or anything supernatural, they are just images that LOOK like a face or whatever.

Saying that, you obviously enjoy taking these photos and searching through them, and if you honestly believe that they are spirits, then that's your perogative, who am I to say your beliefs are nonsense and that you should stop taking these photos. And, like I said before, even though I disagree that they are spirits, I still enjoyed looking through them.

I'd really really like to believe in fairies and spirits and all the stuff on your site, but I cannot put my faith in it, at least not yet.
Spirit Hunter
Don't be upset by people who have not been awakened. Continue taking photographs and never loose site of the possibility for that one great shot. You will get it! I believe that you are on the right road. It just takes time. Now for some suggestions - twilight is good for most photos; always use your flash; the most unusual photos are generally taken in the dark; talk to your subjects, especially spirits - be prepared for something special; look for quiet places - you will know when it is right; be consistent, remember they are not standing by waiting for you possibly come out! Do not let negative thoughts/people near you while you are on your quest! Best of luck!

I think the fairies would prefer to be called "little people."
blackfly59
i, too have a few pictures of things i cant explain that i have always shrugged off as just light, which in my opinion mostly are, but i think that for about every 50 that are just a weird flash there is something we are overlooking. im not sure if the word "fairy" is how i would describe them, as they seem like more of an "energy anomaly" that a camera has luckily snapped at just the right time... but what would i know right?
Cerbero
I´m not convinced at all

I believe those pics of fairies, even if they were fake. I got wired eyes can see thru some kinda invisible creatures. I used to be freaked out but 's not anymore. I have no pics or anythin' to prove it but I'll try to get one so that i can post and explain it. You can consider this as a bull but it is true. Having a pure soul is the key, I think.

I could see the fairys but the fairy in the middle of your last photo had no face. could just be dead leaves alongside fresh leaves.

fairies aren't supposed to be little strawberry shortcake looking creatures. People have such a misunderstanding of them mostly due to the media. I'm sure there are other mythical beings that are small with wings, but fairies were generally believed to be of human stature or taller, and no wings. That is, at least in Celtic folklore, where most of the "fairy" stories come from. . . before they were taken and twisted around by the Victorian era. . .that's when they became small little people with wings. . .That being said, I think the "fairies" in the photos are just patterns in leaves that look like something. . .and no, I'm not a skeptic. I believe that there's an entire world around us that we can't see. . .but I just don't believe these pictures are anything special. I could be wrong, and I would be happy to be wrong. . .but that's just my honest opinion as of now.
Camozotz
The top one is too blury, the bottom 2 are fake.

I do know they have been twisted around alot, mostly by Disney, and stories and stuff, making them Tinkerbell creatures, all sweet and innocent...But I know that Fairies are supposed to be quite mean, you didn't wanna mess with one if you met one...They were feared...

Disney is not really responsible for Tinkerbell, that would be J.M. Barrie. Tinkerbell does also try and kill Wendy in that story.
