Hello TAPS and Message Board Members –

My name is Matt Haas; I am 29 years old and live on Long Island, NY. I am pleased to announce I am starting a Paranormal Society on Long Island! With some research involved I noticed there is no quality Groups on Long Island NY and what better then to start one out here. In any industry, all businesses start from the ground up and that’s what I am looking to do right now. My goals are to attract some “volunteers” who have skill and knowledge about the Paranormal Field. Your skill can be anything related to the Paranormal whether it is technical skill, knowledge, history, or going to school for it.

Right now I’m looking for responsible, hard working, volunteers and individuals, male or female who might be interested in starting a Society on Long Island from the ground up. What I’d like to accomplish is finding dedicated people, and start a community. Once we get a small or large enough community of members we can start some investigations on hauntings, evp’s, anything related to the paranormal and help families who have haunting activity. Someday I’d like the group to grow as large as TAPS has.

For now, I am calling this group L.I.P.S. The Long Island Paranormal Society! I did post about this a few threads ago but only got a few responses. A little bit about me…

I am 29, lived on Long Island for over 20 years. I am an Artist, Musician, love Web Design, and always wanted to work in the Paranormal Field. This particular field runs in my family. The more I research and learn about the Paranormal Field the more I get intrigued. I have a goal to start this group from the ground up and help it grow to become a major part of the Long Island Society in the field of Science and the Paranormal.

LIPS can and will perform investigations where there is hauntings in our local area. Those who are interested should have some experience in the Paranormal. I am seeking for good quantity of people. I will only deal with serious people that want to apply for the group.

Right now since I am starting from the ground up, we will be working from my basement which is my home. I am not a dangerous individual, and am serious on putting together this group. I have a large enough space to work from my home in my basement where I stay. I grew up mostly on Long Island and lived here since 1981. As I stated before I have so much interest for the Paranormal. I want to catch evidence no one has ever caught before. And show proof to the world, there is activity beyond the afterlife…
