I've been playing this at a friend's house, and it is AMAZING.
I'm a Breton Mage with a bit of bow use. I just got into the Arcane University today. I made an enchanted bow for myself out of an Elven Bow called "Swift" that makes a gigantic fire blast on the target and casts soul trap.
I have a question, though. Once I buy my 360 (we will both have premiums), can he detach his hard drive and put it on my 360 to transfer my data on the 512 MB of internal memory?

If anyone's got any enchanted stuff, post the effects, names etc. here...
Cuirass Of Talos (Enchanted Ebony Cuirass) Fortify Strength +12 points
Helm Of Iceward (Enchanted Orcish Helmet) Resist Frost 35 points on Self (Me being a Nord, that says i'm nearly fully resistant to frost ALL the time, Frost Atronachs kiss my butt!)
Greaves Of Life (Enchanted Ebony Greaves) Fortify Health +30 points
Fists Of Swordstrike (Enchanted Ebony Gauntlets) Fortify Blade +10 points
^Yeah, I named all that armour by those cool names all by myself....
Umbra (Sword of Umbra) Soul Trap
Dando Kast
Apr 16 2006, 02:24 PM
Not bad....
How about these though:
Ring of Perfection - fortify all attributes by 10
Mundane Ring - 35% spell reflect and 50% magicka resistance (and since I'm a Breton that means I'm immune to magic)
Ring of Vitality - 100% resistance to disease, poison and paralysis (daedra spiders hate that ring)
Oblivions Embrace - 75% weakness to fire and 1 fire damage over 15 seconds
I created an enchanted bow last night using a sigil stone too.... called it Blazing Arrow...it just does an additional 25 points of fire damage.... and has I think 70 charges...
oh and Umbra too..... but I didn't actually find that since it was posted here how to get it.....
I still haven't found any decent enchanted armor though.

I just keep going to blueblood fort and killing marauders and then taking all there daedric items to go sell them in Anvil.... say....the most I can get out of a vendor is 1200.....anyone find anybody better yet?

Apr 16 2006, 05:11 PM
^I know the duplication glitch works, I've done it many times on the Xbox 360 version. You must be doing something wrong? Keep in mind that some items can't be duplicated.
Also, when selling to a shopkeeper, you can sell as many things as you want to them but only certain quantities at a time, e.g. You might not be able to sell 3 swords at a time because the vendor won't have enough money, but if you sell them all individually you can sell as many as you want.
I now have full Raptor Armour (Enchanted ebony: Blade +10), maybe it was a bad decision adding +10 blade to everything, I should have varied it. But atleast im extremely powerful with the sword.

I posted where it was before, but never found the place. I've only ran into it once by mistake. but if you do find it dont pull out your weapon, if you do it attacks you. you have to lure the minotaurs away and then kill them.

Moose-Of-Armageddon
Apr 16 2006, 06:12 PM
I mean I know the answer it's real simple I think.....Although the first line of the riddle doesn't go with it, it goes with some variation of it though, and the second line goes with most variations almost perfectly....
And oh God, I hate that horned horse! Clue: I won't tell you the place, but it is North of Bravil, not along the road......But you have to kill it for a Daedric Shrine quest near the place of the Unicorn. And the Minotaurs are tough as hell to kill, plus you have lure them away or the Unoicorn attacks, and it's a b*stard to kill......And what do you get if you take it's horn to the Daedra? An animal hide armour with 15% magical resistance...Pah, I sold the thing for 800gp, light armour is garbage for me.....(Light Armour:21, Heavy Armour:88) Also, if you manage to lure off the Minos, kill 'em and go back to the place of the Unicorn, and say, travel to a town, if you ever dismount, it runs at lightspeed to it's original home, and you have go there again, lure off MORE Minotaurs, kill em, etc. AND SO THE CYCLE LIVES ON!
And a person on PortalForums told me that if you ride past goblins on a horse, it's possible to shout insults at them! I don't know how though....
Dando Kast
Apr 16 2006, 06:25 PM

OK, I found the riddle, suddenly the answer plopped out of my mind, so I left it. Then, later, got some Daedric armour from some bandits. I planned to oput in display case in my house, but when I tried to grab it to put it in, the Cuirass fell out of my hand and went straight through the floor! So I went to the basement to examine this curious case, but couldn't find anything. So I begin jumping around, trying to get up to the basement ceiling. But then, on a beam in the basement, an 'Activate' sign caught my eye, but I didn't know what it was. So I jumped and clicked on it. And all of a sudden, it said I got the Rosethorn Cache (A ring, diamonds, emeralds and sapphires).

The answer turned out to be.....

just thought you guys would like to read this, its a post about the latest mod off of the offical site, this guy it pissed.
------
Thats it. I've had it with Bethesda and their crappy "offical" mods. I'm never getting another one again. Even though it was almost nothing, it was still not worth it at all. This mod is so bad, so unpolished, it doesn't even deserve to be called offical. The damn thing was over before it even started too.
This mod starts out the same as the last one. You, for some reason, find a piece of paper lying on the ground that explains what this quest is about. I was in oblivion when I found this piece of paper. Wow, how realistic. I guess someone from the mages guild went to oblivion and accidently droped their note before they were about to take a Sigil stone out of it's socket, to close the gate. Oooookay.... whatever. Mabey someone purposely left the note there for me in front of the Sigil stone in oblivion, knowing I would go there and pick it up. Talk about imersion!
There is no actual piece of paper that you find either. It's just a message in the middle of the screen telling you about this stupid quest. I thought to myself, mabey it is a mission impossible type thing, you know, the ones that self-destruct after 10 seconds? Meh... it didn't really matter THAT much to me. Why the hell didn't the quest man just give me the paper the next time he saw me? Why did he have to look into his crystal ball, find out where I was going to be, then strategically place the note in a place I would find it imediately?
So as soon as I click "OK", the quest starts imediately. I didn't even agree to do the quest. WTF? What if I don't want to help this nerd repair his stupid "Orrery"? These are all questions I would ask myself during this lame quest. Now appearantly, some bandits stole parts off of his machine, ran to the other side of the world, and are just hanging out with each other. Why exactly would anyone do this? What makes these parts, which have a value of 5 gold each, so desirable to some bandits in the forest? I don't think anyone knows.
The quest conviently places 5 markers on your map, so you know exactly where the bandits are. If the quest guy knew this, he should have just gone out to get the damn parts himself! So much for being a powerful wizard who can harness the power of the moon. So I just fast travel to the three bandit camps kill the bandits to get their machine parts, and glass armor with crappy bonuses to sell. Finished 90% of the quest in 5 minutes.
So now it says I have all of the parts. It now puts a map marker on my map to go to the arcane university. Appearantly, that is where this note came from. My guy must be a lucky guesser of where to go, because it didn't say anything about the Arcane University in my note. I fast travel to the Arcane University, I walk in, and then my compass marker tells me to talk to a wood elf sitting on a bench. Another lucky guess! Good thing I put those extra points into luck... it really paid off.
The Wood elf says "Thanks, you got me everything I needed. Here is your reward." Strange. I remember hearing this exact same line somewhere. OH! Thats right! A fighters guild quest NPC said the exact same thing when I gave her 5 ectoplasm. Hey, wait a minute, where the hell is my reward? GET BACK HERE STUPID *****! She walks into a locked door in the University, completely forgetting to give me my reward. WTF? By this time, I am royally pissed. The compass marker says to go through the locked door, but I can't get in! I try talking to some of the other mages in the guild, but they don't say a thing about it. Then I remember my journal. It says I have to wait a day for her to fix her machine. WOW, THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW ABOUT THAT IN ADVANCE!
I wait for 24 hours, and then a message comes up on my screen saying that the Orrery is fixed, and that I can get a new power based on the fase of the moon as often as I like. Ohhhh! So thats what it does? Another lucky guess, I suppose? So THAT is my reward! Oh well, mabey this whole thing wouldn't be so bad if my reward was cool. But anyway...
I walk into the Orrery door. There's this huge machine in the middle of the room. Cool... mabey they *forgot* to add this into the vanilla version of the game? I walk up a set of metal stairs, and talk to the quest woman standing next to some sort of console. I talk to the woman again, and she has no chat option about the quest. Mabey she forgot about it? Or mabey Bethesda didn't want to pay another voice actor to give her a unique line. Nice one. So I activate the console, and the machine starts spining around. Nice! A cutscene. It spins around for about 5 minutes, and I am wondering, wow, what a boring cutscene this is! It actually wasn't a cutscene. I can move around. LOL. I activate the console again, and it says at the top of the screen that I earned a new power.
I open my spell menu excitedly to check it out right away! But to my disappointment, the power was crap. Once a day, I can increase by personality (the most useless stat in the game) by 10 points for 60 seconds, but at the same time decreasing my luck by 20 for 60 seconds. Wow, this does absolutely NOTHING for me, but it only hurts me by a lot! I could have made a stupid fortify personality by 10 spell for about 50 gold, costing about 20 magicka. How disappointing. A message said that my quest is now over, called me a chump, and thanked me for support of the Bethesda Corporation. Ok just kidding, that never happened, but that was the way I felt after completing this "mod".
Basically, my advice to you is NOT to pay for this [censored]. Just spend your $2 on chocolate bars. There is a special for any 5 chocolate bars for $2 at my local 7-11. I feel utterly disappointed right now, since I would be much happier with those chocolate bars right now than with my horrible, poor quality, no-effort, 10 minute quest.
I have lost all my faith in this company. This is OBVIOUSLY just a way to cash in poor quality releases that aren't reviewed by the shady game review sites.
I HOPE YOU ALL AT THE BETHESDA HEAD OFFICE ENJOY MY MONEY YOU ****ERS!
