hm... change of topic is i order I think...

so.. I came up with a really sweet thing (probally not the first to think of it though) I enchanted all my uniform (I brought some cheap clothes) I enchanted them 20% chameleon, and 5 items of clothing = 100% chameleon, and you really do go invisable. you can even kill people in a busy street and no-one flinches (part from the guy you're stabbing and chasin')

100% chameleon is pretty cool, but it gets boing after a few hours, its cool to watch things going on when no one can see you. it just makes murder and theft too easy, i found that i hardly had stolen anything or murdered anyone, until i tried this out, i'm a bad bad person.

In that case the armour may just be a PC Mod.

I made a sweet pair of boots yesterday from a sigil stone that gave me feather at 125 constant effect, I made them out of Daedric armor...called them Moon Walk, it makes my guy a lot faster and it's easier to make money this way.... I'm primarily a mage but can carry 540 now. Say, how many hours has everyone put in yet?.... I got 108+

I'm around 90-100 I think, lvl 26 though (yay)

haha, I went into oblivion last night and killed everyone like a ninja. but it got boring so I switched my normal (enchanted) armour and 10 just came out of nowhere and chased me (okay, maybe not ten but I didnt want to stop and count. specially not while the Spider Daedra and Storm Atronach's being around)

anyways i think i'm going to start a new character, there is so much that i would like to do differently.

Listen, I KNOW FOR A FACT that there is Dwarven armour in the 360 version of Oblivion.

1. It appears at Lv6, but goes away normally (From bandits at least) at about Lv8, when Orcish comes in.

2. You can buy Dwarven armour in any armour & weapons shop, so long as your level is not too high or low.... I know I can buy Dwarven armour in shops and i'm Lv25....

But I don't know how Dando didn't see some until he got the mod.....

has anyone finished the main quest and received the imperial dragon armor? its a let down, i just got the message the other day to pick it up, and it has a worse rating than the crap i had in the first sewers. it looks cool though, i need something to display it on now.

deadric armour is the best imo.

finished the dark brotherhood today as well. it has quite a good storyline, better than the fighters guild. the theif guild and mages guild also have pretty good storylines, but the thief guild is number 1 storyline imo.

I've gotta go fetch a great welk(something) stone now, I can focus on the main quest now.

Definitly cool, a fight is never worth it . Maybe I'm just a burn out and didn't notice the Dwarven armor. I've not even really progressed in the main story line... I want to close more gates on my own..... those sigil stones are excellent for enchanting.... made what I call Hercules Pendant last night too...another 125 feather, my guy flies now.

hm... I've done all the guilds and the final quest now. not much else to be done, i cant be bothered running to each city and seeing if they have any misc quests either.

I think i'll create a new character and edge the the difficulty upto 3/4 of the way. I played through it on just over half this time over.

There's actually another 48 side quests to be done, try turning up the difficulty and tackling those .

Your gonna have fun at 3/4 difficulty, when I first started I had set the difficulty to max.....then forgot about it..... I couldn't figure out for the life of me why one hit from a rat and I was dead. It brings a whole other element into the game I think.... a high sneak is a good idea.

YAY, hit level 40 last night....still no further in the storyline though

I haven't done them all though so I'm not sure what they all are.... and some quests can't be done after completing other certain quests, assasinating a NPC for example before he/she gives you the quest.....like me and the Gray Prince.... he gives you a quest but I killed him in the Arena before learning of it...oh well

yeah, he gets depressed and just lets you kill him. though he does give you a new attack, via a book. but its nothing to worry about missing tbh.

the game is like a drug for me,i've just been playing it for days now,because of easter break!!!!!but yeah,i think the games pretty sweet(i own it on 360)

Sounds like a cool game but does it have multiplayer modes? Rpgs without multiplayer are usually more fun than the multiplayer ones but they eventually get boring... you can never get bored of WoW or Runescape though well maybe runescape but thats only because it was such a lousy game in the first place.

There's no MP, but if you have the version for your PC then it comes with a construction set. The MOD community is large and well accepted by Bethesda for their games. So in a sense it is only single player but many many people can cntribute to expanding the game. I've been playing this one for close to 115 hours and I'm not bored yet....in fact I get up just a little bit earlier to play and stay up a little bit later to play

Nope, just convincing sound effects I think....

They really need a mod that provides some ambient life.... that doesn't always attack you you know....bunnies and birds would be great ... and cats...can't have dogs without cats....maybe have a quest as a khajit to free all the poor house kitties....

steal them from mages guilds. also, if you helped the weynon (sp?) brothers back to there house, you get a side quest from an elf (forgot what city) to recover the honor blade, and telling the brothers about their father they give you 4 grand soul gems.

I've been playing for days now and still haven't advanced from level two. I'm also looking for a way to raise my alteration level higher...

To raise your alteration grab a spell you can do over and over and cast it over and over....should lvl up pretty quick. To raise your level you need to up your major skills 10 times per level, doesn't matter which ones but it's best to concentrate on three attributes per lvl in order to maximize your character (I'll explain furhter if you need me to on that).

So I got The Tower yesterday, not much of a quest but it is a cool little addition. Getting to have Atronachs with you all the time is pretty neat if you ask me, the view is decent when it's not raining, and if your into alchemy the upstairs is awesome.... a garden with practically everything in it (except Nirnroot) and then an area you step into that increases your alchemy by 15 (it looks like a big bunson burner that you stand in front of).

I also found a 'Necklace of Swordsman'.... gives me a 25 boost to Blade and reflects 33% damage.... so now I am 100% immune to magic..... reflect 63% of physical damage....and my armor is all at 125%.... I'm untouchable!.... *what's that?*..... *turn up the difficulty?*....*ok*....... *Ok, I'm dead..... hello new challenge *

This game looks so good i think ill get it on the pc.

The game is great ... and the PC version is about ten times better then the 360 version with mods and all.

got to agree there, i have it on the 360, but if i had a better computer, i would have it for that.

OK thanks for the advice guys. I bought hitman on pc and found it very hard to control so i dont normaly get games for the pc. Im gonna get it for the pc now though so thanks for advice.

controls are much better on the 360 without question, but thats only my opinion because I favor having the controller, but overall you have more control over everything in the PC version

You can buy a 360 controller for the comp. All the controllers are just USB interfaces so whether it's specifacllly for Windows or not it will work... I find that helps with the control I have for most of my PC games.

you know, i feel stupid, i knew that. I should have remembered the 360 controlers are compatible.

by the way, does anyone know where to get the frenzy spell?

A spell to cause frenzy?.... umm.... I believe that is alteration magic.... when your loading a screen at a mages guild door one of the message should state where they specialize in that magic.... so it's one of the guilds...just not sure which one....

So is it easy to use the controls on pc or would a controller be better ?

I'd say its all about what your more comfortable with, I prefer controllers

Well i bought the game today and installed it, but when i click play i get an error report. So i haven't been able to play it which is really disappointing.
