CGI has come such a long way

i really thought Ice Age was well done

im hoping some day it is so widely used it will weed out alot of the actors

bring down movie costs

Watching Toy Story right now and it makes me long for the day when there is no longer anyone make $20 a pic

I think it would be interesting to compare the costs of CGI to having real actors in a movie. I would think it’s more expensive to do the CGI, for now at least. I don’t think real actors will ever be totally replaced on the screen.

I’m still holding out for the next revolution in how we experience going to the movies; virtual realty..!! grin2.gif

here and here for starters.

We’re getting closer! cool.gif

GCI can make or break a movie,if a whole movie is in CGI thats ok but its when they use it in "real" movies it can suck big time.
