The site probably doens't allow remote linking to its images, thats why nothing shows up. It does for you because the image is 'cached' on your computer. In a way thats a good thing, several people have hot linked images from another site here and have had the original image replaced with a highly offensive, pornographic image, which can be very embarassing. You're stealing the other sites bandwidth when you hotlink images, not many site administrators have a sense of humor about that. You're better served downloading the image to your hard drive and then uploading it and attaching it in your post.
