"WOW", said O'Reilly. "At those prices, we can afford 500 shirts, and a hundred suits. Then we can go back to Dublin and make a killing on the profits".
"good idea", Paddy replied. "but this is New York! They think us Irish are slow. They'll try and cheat ya".
"That's ok. I've lived here 20 years now, I can do an American accent, no worries".
So Paddy and O'Reilly walk in to the shop. The owner is standing at the desk looking bored. "I'd like 500 shirts and 100 suits please", O'Reilly asked in a confident, American tone.
The shopkeeper stared at him a moment, then said "You're Irish, aren't ya".
"How did you know?" Paddy and O'Reilly asked.
"Because this is a dry-cleaner!"
