My son has been playing since yesterday, the game is excellent , Its better then KH1 more variety of characters, graphics better you can do more specials, its very long, straight from my 8 year old ...KH2 ROCK S

OMG! I love this game I'm not too far into it but I can tell it's gonna be fun.

I'm four hours into it right know, and I must say that it's different. Firstly, it starts off much slower than the first Kingdom Hearts and there are (long) cutscenes every couple of minutes. The whole time I'm looking at the clock and wondering when the game is going to actually start.
Secondly, it is more complex plot-wise than the first. This is more like recent final fantasies, than the relatively simple plot of the first.
Fortunately, the gameplay hasn't changed a whole lot and there's a "reaction" command on the triangle buttons, similar to one used in Wind Waker or Resident Evil 4.
I don't think I like it as much as the first, but it is a very good game so far.

I'm shaking from the withdrawl symptoms right now. I've been playing it from sun up to sun down the pass 2 days! I'm addicted. I put like 20+hours into it already. I'm kinda of at a phase though where it felt like I'm at the end of the game because of the part in Hallow Bastion where you have to kill the heartless army and that water guy from O13 (so annoying too).

I like the fact that you can wield 2 weapons but they could have atleast gotten the real people from all the movies to do the voice overs. Port Royal kind of let me down in that area...

I'm a big fan of the first Kingdim Hearts/ I never got to play the second one though.

I finished it and now my partner is playing it she is having some trouble with sepiroth as she keeps trying to battle him and he is ROCK SOLID!!!!!

Hardest boss in the game + you need to be lvl 70 to even stand a fighting chance. I beat the game without fighting sephiroth. I beat it about 6 months ago, all i remember is I thought it was better than KH1

but the bad news is, Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't coming out for years, and it is going to be on the PS3!!!!

like that would happen square enix are greedy and are keep that final mix in japan like they did with the 1st one
